cuuuuuuuuuuuute!!!! Napkin idea

Anyone ever seen this done up at a wedding? I think it is so adorable. I''am in the middle of placing my wedding flowers order from fiftyflowers and flower exchange and I think I want to do this. If we have them all cut to length the night before, have the napkins all ribbon tied and ready to go . I would just need a person to put the napkins on the tables and slide in the flower. If we do this at 10:30, and eat at noon. Would we be okay as far as wilting goes? I really do not care what happens to them after everyone gets seated and is eating. I am thinking a lot of the kids will collect them. Which might be kind of cute anyway........

My colors are champagne/ivory, mocha, navy (there is beautiful navy beading on the bridesmaids dresses and I plan on using a very thin navy ribbon on their bouquets as well ) That will be the only navy in the entire color scheme. than I plan on having an accent color of light pink throughout the flowers, tables and venue decorations.

so I am thinking Ivory linens, a light pink gerbera flower and a champagney/mochay color ribbon????

Gerbers are really hardy, so i don''t think you''ll have anything to worry about. You could also fold the napkins in a way that made a pocket and slide the flowers in that. You could have little water thingys on the end of the flowers hidden in the pocket.
