Good Afternoon Ladies!
I had to wait until my younger brother was off the computer to post. Sorry!
This morning I did 95 minutes on the eleptical trainer and one section of my Workout Solution DVD, the bootcamp one, so it counts as weights.
I am still doing lousy on eating. Jeffrey took me out last night for our 4.5 year mark. We had a great time and then came home and goofed around with the puppies.
Hope everyone else is having a spiffy day!

ETA: Dazleland I just read your other post. I love yoga! My sophmore year of college I was an instructor and it was quite fun. When my sholders are really hurting me I add weight to cetain postions like the three warriors and bow, It really helps. Still two hours of working out a day is amazing! If you like walking and you live a place where it is safe to walk alone ankle weights are a great way to make your walk go a bit farther. I have the 5lb/each set from Wal-Mart they have neopreene (sp) instead of nylon woven fabric so they dont scracth while you are breaking them in. Good Luck!

I hear you with the eating! I can''t seem to resist potato chips these days! You''re doing great with your exercising though!

I met with my trainer this morning. Eventhough I was super tired and very dehydrated, she kicked my butt. No mercy for me! It was good though...
She gave me some excercises to do while I''m at the beach. I''m supposed to walk for at least half an hour every day and I bought a theraband so I can do some resistance training. The people I''m sharing the house with are going to think I''m crazy! Who does exercise while they''re on vacation?!

Great work! You ladies are doing awesome!!!

My problem food lately is BearNaked. It''s a little pouch of granola mixed with nuts and fruis. There are different flavors. So hard to resist! And also regular soymilk (not light), yum!!

AmberG- I know your pain!! I have never been able to do a stairclimber or stairmaster without mucho pain. I really can''t do elevations of any kind. Sometimes I''ll put the treadmill or elliptical on the random setting (instead of manual at 0) because I want a little extra workout. Always a big mistake. Lots of knee pain later.

Sorry to bore with details, but in case anyone is interested, here is the lastest update on me getting a trainer: I met with the guy last night who does not have an opening for me. He gave me the business cards for 2 other trainers that work at that gym. I asked if there was any better way than calling or emailing them, and he said no. So I will be trying to contact them today.

Are you kidding me? Why did he meet with you if he did not have any openings? That is a waste of your time.
When I found my trainer I went online and looked up oerson trainer and the name of my town. I then called everyone. Anyone who called me within 24 hrs was in the running. I meet with I think 8 during the first week. I choose Ron from those people. He was honest and knew the right answers and asked the right questions. I just dont get it. You are paying alot of money to be part of a gym and trainers can make or break your feelings about a gym.
Grrr...why wont they help you? This is really irking me.

Oh how I wish I had better news to report

I am being so bad- Monday I had that crazy lunch, but at least I worked out. Yesterday I didn''t get to the gym, was good with the food until I came home to BF cooking some delish french food and didn''t go to the gym or do my laundry. and today was about a crazy lazy morning, where I was dreading a big lunch meeting and 1) didn''t go to the gym 2) ate 3 low-fat ice cream sandwiches for breakfast 3) was good with the food at lunch but nothing to make up for my slothiness lately.....so now I''m looking at an ad for the fabulous Jim Hjelm dress I want to wear next year for our wedding. 75 lbs is the minimum I need to lose.

So once again I begin from this point, can''t undo what I did yesterday but I can be good to myself from here on in

fountain- The past is the past. Don''t even think about what happened yesterday or the day before. Keep on pushing ahead

AND PLEASE post a pic of the fabulous Jim Hjelm dress!

Mata- It''s madness, it really is!! The gym I go to is already about twice as expensive as other ones in the area. I love the layout, atmosphere, and facilities so it''s worth it for me. Plus, my sis loves the place. But they are really working my last nerve by how difficult it is to get a personal trainer.

ok ladies, be kind and remember that a girl can dream about having a better body in one years time (and I know I will never be like the model.) Lets hope that miracles can happen & that the thrill of being fit, healthy and attractive will sustain me (this picture is on my desk at work, I think its going to migrate to the fridge door

) as I use this for a little motivation. Since Buena & Matatora have met me, they are probably rolling on the floor at my crazy dress ambitions!!!!!!

this dress would be perfect on many levels 1) It''s my second marriage and we''re eloping and having a private garden ceremony 2) I could possibly wear it on another occasion (like the family dinner or friends'' party we''ll be having after the honeymoon) 3) it''s the most perfect blue I have ever seen....but it also comes in ivory

I had great aspirations of a good work out today. I got up and jogged two miles and planned on going to yoga, but then got stuck on PS for too long I missed the class. oops.

Buena- Maybe you should try another gym. I am a member of Ballys, and I didnt like their trainers so I talked to a friend who belonged to a private club here in Chicago. They had a 6 week ''fat blaster'' class. You met in a group of 3 with a trainer 2 mornings a week and you simply paid the fee if you were a member or not. It was such a great program, I lost 12 pounds and 8% body fat. I loved it so much I am now a member of both gyms. But that might be an option if your gym cant get it together.

FFF- that dress is AMAZING!

I am not laughing FFF! That dress would be great on your. You have a lovely neck line and nicely shapped shoulders and the dress would really highlight your features. I love that blue color, and since you have such pretty hazelly colored eyes I think that would be a great looking contrast. Truely I think you ought to get whatever pleases you. This may sound silly but have you thought about hitting the mall just after prom season? You night be able to find something similiar for about 100$. I dont know how much your Jim Helm dress costs, it might be aroudn the same amount I am just saying that after prom those dress drop in price by quite alot.

FFF, that dress is AMAZING!!!!

Absolutely freakin'' gorgeous, I love (can you tell?!) !!!
36.gif

Well I haven''t met you, but just from reading the energy and enthusiasm that comes out in so many of your posts, I''m sure you would look absolutely radiant in that dress!!! You sound like a wonderfully radiant person inside and out!!!!
2.gif

fountain- You are honestly too hard on yourself!! You are beautiful inside and out and that dress will look fabulous on you! My sis will be wearing a Jim Hjelm BM dress next summer. Love their product (the dresses are exsquisite)!

msflutter- One of the people that was just recommended to me yesterday does training at the gym and also at other places. But here is his site: link
How funny is that!?!

I might be tired right now, but I cannot figure out how to contact the guy through his website. I was too busy to call today. I''ll have to ring him tomorrow.

Gee thanks ladies, you are all so very sweet and supportive

If I get to the point where I feel comfortable and look good in such a dress it will be because of all the encouragement, kindness & feedback I get from my PS friends. You are all simply THE BEST
