Morning Ladies.
I did 5.18 miles. It took just over an hour which I think is a reasonable pace. Still it was too cold to keep going. I think in a week or two I will adjust to the new lower temps. I would still rather be outside.
Mrs Flutter how are you doing? Is the weather nice for you?
 
After almost 3 months of no gym and too much rewarding myself with food for doing such a good job of slimming down for my wedding and honeymoon , my work pants are about to split at the seams.

This really sucks becasuse 3 months ago they were really loose... SO i got myself to the gym yesterday and did 45 min on the eliptical and then went and played 2 softball games in the rain. I am hoping to be back at my pants being loose by christmas!
 
I''m all for loose pants! Yesterday I wore a pair of old pants, and they were so tight by the end of the day it was painful. However, I was wearing stockings under them (was going to wear a skirt but decided against it and was so late that I just put the pants on over them), so I don''t know if it was the pants or the stockings that made that ugly, red line around my midsection. Not very encouraging...

I had my trainer this morning. We had a good session. My legs are on fire... good thing I sit for my job. She wants me to be more active in general. Such as, when watching tv, get up every 10 minutes and walk around the apartment. Little things like that. She said the gym is not the only place to expend calories... which of course I know, but it''s hard to believe will actually do anything. But... no harm in trying.

I ate too much for breakfast but I brought my lunch so I can control the calories. I''m cooking dinner so I can control that too. I see my trainer again tomorrow, so hopefully I won''t be too tired!

Whoa! Way to kick start on the first day, just dont over do it and hurt yourself.

I didn''t work out yesterday night like I said I was going to....I felt extremely tired when I got home so I decided to rest. I am definitely going to get on the elliptical tonight. This week is my PMS week so I feel like crap, and always craving chocolate too...not a good sign.
 
As tired and horrible as I feel when I''m PMSing... working out seems to energize me. Or, at the very least, get my aggressions out.

One of my favorite chocolate fixes is the Nabisco 100 calorie snack packs of oreos. Yum!
 
I have been eating a bit more than usual what with my birthday this week and we went out every night over the weekend with friends or family...this week is a bit chopped up for workouts too. I was going to go tonite as per my scheduled kbox but I had a dentist appt where they redid two old fillings and my mouth is just now un-numbing and I was afraid I'd bite a cheek or something what with all the jumping around in class. So Greg told me to just stay home and walk around the park, but then we saw some cops traversing the neighborhood and driving around (we live in a transitional city neighborhood with mingled incomes) so then Greg said well ,maybe you should just stay inside and don't go walking at night...HAH. So here I am now...with nothing to do..I'm thinking I may do some running of the stairs and some crunches and call it a night. I can go work out tomorrow instead. But BOO...I feel horrible since I had KFC for lunch (a coworker brought it in and then I had to have some!) but at least we are having healthy chicken for dinner. At least my jeans aren't tight, that's a plus for now.
 
I was "power walking" with my head phones on and someone to be cute come up behind me and honked.

I tripped and hit the ground with my face. My nose is still bleeding a little and it has been over an hour.
