Thanks for all the kind words yesterday. I''m feeling much better today. After yesterday''s overeating, I went home and jogged .8 miles! That''s huge for me, considering before I started working out more I only ran when chased. Got up early this morning, walked a mile with the fiance, came home, had some Kashi Go Lean with some almonds on top and I''m back on track! Bean and cheese burrito on whole wheat wrap for lunch today and some fruit and veggies for snack. Hope y''all have great days!
 
SarFar, glad to hear you saved the day by jogging last night! Sounds like you are feeling really motivated and are doing great!

I didn''t make it to the gym last night, but I did use my 10 pound dumbbells and did a good 15 minutes of arms workout. I''m a little sore today! My foot is still really sore so I guess I will just keep resting it until it gets better. It sucks because the weather is supposed to be really nice here all week and now I can''t take advantage of it by getting out and walking. Even the dog is disappointed!

I''m just trying to maintain this week by working on my upper body and really watching what I eat. I don''t expect to lose any weight without doing cardio, but I sure as heck am not trying to gain any back, lol!

Hi Everyone! I never made it to the gym last night as I was visiting my parents, but I realize that my legs really were much too sore for working out anyway. Today is another day though & although my legs are still feeling tight, it''s not as painful! I am planning to head to the gym tonight to do some cardio & weights

SarFar - glad to hear you are feeling better today! We all have our days, but it''s good to know you are back on track after one day!

Finally, good news to report!! I worked out last night! I''m pretty excited since I really did only 1/2 of 1 workout last week. I went to the gym and did walked on the treadmill, increasing my incline a bit. I felt good about that. I came home and ate too much but still am feeling ok. I was also really conscious about my water drinking yesterday. Today, I planned to work out this morning but overslept so it will be an evening workout for me. I just have to do it right when I get home, otherwise I get too tired.
Monarch and Danielle, sorry to hear that you''re still sore. Hopefully it will wear off soon!
SarFar, great job about working out last night!

good morning ladies!

this weekend, we took a whirlwind trip up to vermont to take care of tons of wedding errands -- so while there were no workouts, i stuck to eating fairly well and no beer

Last night, I did a vigorous 3.5 miles on the elliptical and then a pilates routine. I''m going to try to stick with the cardio/pilates combo from now until july...
 
morning gals!! i updated the thread last nite with what i finished up yesterday with (two cupcakes but walked 2.5 miles!)...and i did some leg exercises last nite. today i plan to walk again depending on weather, yesterday there was a block of time where it was sunny for about an hour and a half and we ran out there and were back in by the time it started to gloom up and rain again. SO OVER RAIN. at least we are getting this half/half sun rain thing now, so we don''t all kill ourselves in desperation for some light.

i just had cracklin oat bran and coffee for breakfast...lunch i am going to try to just eat some of this yummy sliced turkey i bought from WF...it''s roasted and it is SO good just eating it plain. i eat about 5 slices. then i can have an apple (my new addiction is sweet fuji apples!) for a snack later. i''d like to eat lighter for lunch today, so we''ll see. if i am STARVING then i will just eat this salad i bought yesterday at WF but i was hoping to save it as our side for dinner. for dinner, we''ll see. maybe fish.

Hey Ladies!

Pilates must be a lulu thing: I started Pilates Reformer training today, along with my cardio workout (30min Pilates, 30min cardio). Needless to say, I feel great! I''m a little sore, (probably more tomorrow!) 2 months and 13 days till the bridesmaid dress!!

You guys have been awesome about food. I had Dairy Queen ice cream last night. I am on the right track today though!
 
i do some pilates during the week for my abs, man it burns but i guess it''s working huh? i can only do it every 2 days or so because my stomach is so sore!

It does burn, I agree Mara! I''ll bet it works awesome though. (I just started!)

I was feeling a bit crappy this morning and didn''t want to go to the gym, but I forced myself to anyway... and let me tell you how glad I am that I did!

Last night, while packing my gym bag, I realized my iPod Shuffle was missing. I searched everywhere but it was MIA. I fell asleep worried that I had lost it, and honestly couldn''t remember the last time it was even in my posession.

Part of what really made me go to the gym this a.m. was the desire to see if it might have made it to the Lost & Found. I suspected it''s been five days or so since I lost it, and almost accepted the fact that I''d have to buy a new one... but it turned out someone found it and turned it in! This totally restored my faith in the human kind, and definitely made my day! :)

So.... while the workout could have definitely been more productive this morning, I''m at least glad I have my Shuffle back. :)

Well, I fell off the bandwagon last week, totally slacked, but we went riding last night. We didn''t do our usual 3.5 miles, only two because it started raining and we turned around to go home. We have these nifty odometers so we know how far we have ridden. I am so tired today, I woke up at 3am and couldn''t go back to sleep and I have a 7:30am meeting tomorrow. I plan to sleep early and looooong tonight, so will pick up again tomorrow.

Good for all you ladies who are so dedicated! I strongly admire that!
