Morning ladies,

I bungled my my afternoon workout! I went to the gym, got into my workout clothes and realized i forgot my sneakers. It was a beautiful evening, so i figured I''d go home and maybe run outside/do pilates. Then i walked all the way to the metro to go home and when i got there realized i had left my wallet in my desk drawer. by this time i was super aggrevated at myself for being so forgetful.

i''m CONSTANTLY doing this. so, by the time I actually made it home i was in a bad mood and didn''t feel like working out. so, i didn''t. perhaps a rest day is just what i needed because now i have my sneakers, it''s a beautiful wednesday and i''ll be working out this evening

hope your managed a bit better than myself!

What a bummer, lulu! Glad you''re back on track today.

Last night I ate a few too many mini Reese''s peanut butter cups and a cadbury creme egg- damn that Easter candy! I brought some of it to work with me and hope to pawn it off on co-workers.

Got up and ran about .6 miles- not quite as good as yesterday but getting slowly better. Walked the rest of the mile. Also did some ab and arm work last night and this mroning. Had an egg sandwich on rye bread for breakfast, yum! Food should be pretty good today- and I have class tonight so the easter candy on our dining room table won''t tempt me.

Hope y''all have a great day!

Sorry to hear about your evening, Lulu. But today is a new day so don''t worry about it!

I managed to workout last night, surprisingly. I allowed myself to sit and watch Martha Stewart but only if I promised myself to workout as soon as it was done. And I did it! Today I workout this evening so 2 days down so far. I don''t have any good rental tapes from the library right now so i''ll have to use one of my shorter ones Thurs. and Friday since I won''t make it to the gym. So that kind of sucks but i''ll just add other stuff to it.

I ate ok yesterday, seems like normally it could be better but...

Have a good day.

I had a nice long power walk planned yesterday when I got home from work, however, my husband misplaced his house keys and I ended up waiting around for him to get home for an hour and a half. By the time he finally got in I was feeling completely unmotivated...I wanted to get out and walk for an hour and a half before it got dark outside. I saved the day by having a light dinner and doing arms/abs/legs while watching American Idol, hee hee.

I think I''ll go to the gym tonight...it''s a little chilly here today so by tonight I''m sure I won''t feel like being outside. I''m shooting for 5 miles on the treadmill--an hour or so is all I can handle before I''m bored to tears, ha ha!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Virginia, glad you''re back!

Amy, thanks for the support yesterday. I will kick this habit completely one of these days.

Oh, I also wanted to say that I agree, if you beat yourself up about not working out, it''s even harder to get motivated and get back on track! Even if I don''t work out as much as I want to, I try to do something every day to be active or at least try to maintain my current state, then I don''t feel like I''m totally off the wagon and all is lost.

Monarch, you''re welcome!

SarFar, I don''t know how you can have candy sitting on your dining room table. If there''s anything in the house, my willpower usually evaporates. I try to keep stuff for my son that I don''t like or put it out of eyesight.

Virginia, that''s great that you feel energized! It''s not as hard for me to workout lately but it''s still never my 1st choice. Sometimes I wish I would just *want* to go workout, rather than go b/c I need to. Maybe one day... I''ve had a goal of learning to play tennis for a few years so maybe this year. I''d like to find outdoor activities so that my routine isn''t as boring.

Amy- My problem is that there isn''t any candy I don''t like- I''m an equal opportunity candy eater. If it''s covered in chocolate, candy coated, gummy, gooey or chewy, chances are I''m a big fan of it. I did however stay away from my fiance''s white chocolate Lindt truffles, not out of dislike but out of respect- the guy is obsessed with them.

Monarch- I totally did my abs and arms during AI, too! Love it!

Good afternoon, Ladies...

Today was a running day. We did 4 miles in about 40 minutes, which was decent. The thing I''m most pleased with was that it didn''t feel bad at all. My feet didn''t blister, I wasn''t too tired... it was excellent. Actually, last week, I spent 40 dollars on 4 pairs of socks... and one of them, Smartwool, was 14 bucks - that''s a lot more than I ever imagined myself spending on a pair of socks but... it''s still less than the 8 dollar blister kit I had to get each week for the past three months, so as long as they continue to perform, it''s a good investment me thinks.

Good to see everybody here... :)
