Deco, they always do a few pro dances on the result shows. I don''t feel bad for Julienne. She won the last two seasons. Someone else''s turn (no offense to her I just like variety). It would be great if a woman won. That hasn''t happened since the first season.

I thought Kristi was lovely and effortless.

Shannon has a lovely figure but seems stiff, which can be worked on.

Priscilla? Well, she danced well but she looks like the Joker from Batman. It is almost painful to look at her trout pout, bad surgery and too much botox. She was so lovely back in the day, remember her on Dallas?

Marlee Matlin did well, I had tears in my eyes. She embraces life and I thought it was wonderful for her to go out there and try.

I really liked Marissa. She''s so cute and sassy, and I think she''s got a chance to go pretty far. Priscilla completely surprised me and I think she''ll do well throughout the competition. I was favoring Kristi to begin with (mostly because she was an idol for me when I was young), and I think she was great! And, Marlee (I didn''t know who she was before now) has an amazing sense of humor and a great attitude. I''m a bit taken by her ability considering her hearing impairment.

As for the guys, Mario was the Best. Steve was fun to watch. And, that''s all I have to say about that!

SS, I am loving Marissa, she is sooooo fun and so cute! I haven't seen the rest; Pricilla is up next and I agree w/DiamondFan's thoughts! I use to love Pricilla on Dallas; I liked her better than Victoria P for Patrick Duffy back then. eta: I thought she did great on the foxtrot!

Mario rocks!!! I hope a woman wins this season! I can't wait to see Kristi; I bet she will do great!

Krisiti was lovely and did an awesome job, it did look effortless!!!

Marlee, is amazing; I agree she has this amazing passion for life; I didn't know she was a mother of 4, wow! She did great.

I thought Shannon Elizabeth (who??) did a great job on a good routine -- especially for someone who doesn''t have a music or dance-relate background.

Priscilla Pressley was better than I thought she would be, but I think the judges were verrrry generous with her scores. I was pretty much predicting the judges'' scores, until they got to Priscilla.

I missed Kristi Yamaguchi''s performance, but I knew I''d have another chance to see her in action. You''ve got to figure that she has an edge in this competition.

I felt bad for Monica Seles -- her body is not trained for fluidity and that showed, but she clearly was putting her all into the dance.

Marlee Matlin -- wow! Talk about overcoming obstacles! And major kudos to her dance partner for working out a training routine and dance that allowed her to perform on a par with the other women in spite of her deafness.

Does anyone know whether they''re kicking off the two teams with the lowest scores, or the male and female celebs with the lowest score?

I know I''ll develop some strong favorites in the next few weeks, but right now I feel like all of the women should get another shot.

I''d be OK with one or two of the men going home, however...

DF! I thought the same thing. My DH said I was crazy. I pointed out look at her face THEN her neck

too much surgery. But she did a great job. I am really routing for Marlee. I thought (in my ignorance) she would be able to *feel* the beat but that seems not to be the case.

I just have to say and I am not trying to be mean, but I really cannot even look at Priscilla. Her face just is too odd for me, it is really sad. I wonder why women think that looks good?

I also felt sad looking at Priscilla. I feel like she would have aged so beautifully if she had allowed it to happen naturally. But I was happy to hear her talk about why she''s doing the show. She seemed to be having a good time.

Erica, my FI has never watched DWTS, but I told him that Penn was going to be on this season, and now he''s totally into the show! Tell your friend that the only reason my FI is watching is because of Penn. We met Penn and Teller at their show in Vegas, and it was so fun. My FI has this very cute picture of himself with Penn...he thinks Penn is HILARIOUS.

Well, you can tell your FI that Penn thinks Penn is hilarious, too.

Penn and Teller are both very very nice people and I always enjoy getting to see them. And if anyone is curious, Penn''s wife was the one sitting to Teller''s left last week.

I finally caught up on watching the rest of the men and the women dance. I enjoyed it much more than I had thought I would. I''m already looking forward to Monday night.

I agree about Priscilla, it is hard to look at her. It is sad - she was so beautiful. I wonder if she just had surgery recently? It looked to me like she was still swollen, and couldn't move her facial muscles. Of course that could be the effects of botox.

I thought that Kirstie was great! Just beautiful to watch.

DH and I love Penn and Teller too! We went to see them on our first date.

I would love a gal to win, but only if they deserve it. Looking at Priscilla I just think it is clear that too much messing makes you look so odd and unlike your real self. A little work is fine, I just think she spoiled a beautiful face.

I enjoyed watching Kristi, she really did make it look so effortless.

Poor Monica looked like she was about to pass out. She is athletic and in awesome shape, but she really is not a girly girl and this does not come to her easily. It will be interesting to see if she can learn it. I think one can learn the steps but the inherent grace and rhythm are not something you can just decide to master.

I missed the men dancing so I cannot comment. Who is the cutie that looks like Chris Rock''s younger brother?

I do miss Maxim as a partner for the female celebs...he was not hard on the eyes at all.

I think Penn just comes off as kind of a jerk if you don''t know his style of humor. He was taking the whole thing VERY seriously and really put his heart into it. He is completely crushed, as is his wife.

! Jullianne Hough, on the other hand, deserves an A++ and a bonus for the the effort she has to put into getting him to stay on task!

Fancy, it was also really hard for me top watch Monica Seles go because she was so obviously putting her heart and soul into it

. Personally, I think their decision to send home the lowest-scoring male and female, rather than the two celebs that that scored lowest, is just a tad old-fahsioned

! But... it's looking like the women will be the ones to beat this season!

Yes, she is stunning and I mean stunning. With a cute smile and a great figure, what more could you ask for? I would love to look like that! But I looked more like it about 20 plus years ago!!!! I think I look fine, but seeing someone young like that, perky and energetic and getting paid to dance, which she loves and rocks at, wow! I feel like an old shoe.

I know I am not DF, but I did hear her sing a little bit on the Today Show and it sounded pretty good but it was a few lyrics. It sounds like she will be singing more country like music.

Anyhoo - weird night for dancing. I thought Christian was the best (though I find his too-open-eye stare a bit creepy) ... followed by Shannon Eliz maybe? And (gasp) Jimmy Kimmel??

All the best ones were kinda off: Kristi was doing a weird head bobbing "snap" move, Mario was sleepwalking, Marlee was off the music for the 1st time ... weird, uneven

Never knew she sang. If she can sing well, and dance, she is pretty talented. If she can act at all, she might end up in Hollywood or on Broadway. But that is more grueling and she gets all the glitz and fun this way!
