Fair bit going on for me at the moment so I’m not going to be super active here, please email at the addy in the LT listing.

Eleven years ago I bought a 20” coral strand from a consignment shop in San Fran. Paid $580. Used most of the beads for other projects and have held onto this remnant for a full decade. Strung it up a couple weeks ago but I know I will never wear it. Anyone want some coral on the cheap?

Length: 6.5” excluding clasp, freshly restrung
Bead size: 7.7mm - 7.0mm
Clasp: 925 (I normally refuse silver but these clasps are very tarnish-resistant, I don’t mind using them)
Beads: Bought as undyed and untreated. Some beads have flat ends, common side-effect of the way older beads were manufactured. Couple have minor pitting near the drill holes - not visible when worn. Some slight crazing, normal for age, won’t impact sturdiness or wearability.

Looking for $145 net to me and I’ll cover shipping within the US. I will include one spare bead (7.7mm) and one of the split bead halves shown in the pics.

Please note that when I strung this for myself I wanted to balance symmetry of marbling with symmetry of bead size. The result is a slight asymmetry in bead graduation (this asymmetry not visible when worn). See photos for reference. I can restring it for a buyer who prioritizes bead size graduation symmetry over bead pattern symmetry, but that’ll take several extra days (dissolving the glue).

String tails are from stringing, gone now obviously.

These are off to a new home. Thank you to everyone who reached out - this little strand was much more popular than I expected! I hope her new owner loves her ::)

I’ve been learning how to string pearls and my first attempt looks like how this bracelet looks, at the end where it was finished - so you then cut the threads and use a dab of glue? Or…? Mine has a knot that looks too big and some frayed strings that look bad. If you could direct me to any tips I’d be very grateful!

Wow!! :appl:Okay if you’ve figured out a reasonable doubling-back on first try you are seriously starting WAYYY ahead of me!! It took me who knows how many attempts to figure that out!!

I normally glue first and then cut - the glue turns the string into a “solid” that cuts more cleanly than thread!
