As much of a novice at this jewelry thing as I am, I imagine that any really competent jeweler *should* be able reconfigure any DBTY-type necklace? WF is certainly a good place to start!

That asymmetric spacing is gorgeous. I love, love, love the DBTY style - I have since the moment Elsa Peretti's creation debuted at Tiffany.

Its lovely.. but.. ack.. not for 7k. I''d much prefer Whiteflash to fashion it together for me.. and wouldn''t it be so cool with a random vivid blue sapphire?

You can''t see it on that little screenshot, but the the necklace is 36" long and has 12 RBs.

Thanks!!! I bet 36" is AMAZING... but for what I was thinking I would only need 16" or 18" - DARN- I may need 2! A 16" and a 36"!!! haha... not likely, but a girl can dream.

I recall an image from "back in the day" of DBTY on spools. Freakin'' spools of the stuff. That''s what I need!

... but I''m thinking of doing larger asschers instead of rounds...

OMG. Let me know how that goes - I have been wanting to do that since I discovered DBTY!
