Happened upon this and almost had my jaw drop, this is some eye-candy at it''s finest!!!!

Best of all it''s not just one ring, it''s a whole collection of them! YUM.

Boy am I glad my setting is already done and over with, or else this would bring me into a world of confusion on what to select, haha.

Oh and attached of course is my favorite of them all...look slightly familiar? hehe.

Very beautiful!

Oh, Mara...that is awesome! I am getting my diamond tomorrow from DCD. It is an EC and I''m trying to find a setting that I like. I do want pave, but my EC is def. more rectangular. Also, just my personal preference, but for my ring, I don''t want the pave "ring" around my stone. What is this called? does it have a name? I go to the appraiser on Thurs and if all looks well, then I''ll be officially shopping for my setting. How exciting!

Hi:

I know! I was browsing for a link bracelet--then lo and behold I spotted their diamond pave collection. YUM!

Do ya''ll think one of those diamond pave bracelets (either the oval or the link style) would be too much if I wanted to attach charms to it? It is that I have so many diamond pendants that I don''t wear Hearts, crosses, circles, etc), I thought I''d create my own charm bracelet--as they are all the "rage" these days......
Or would a plain white gold oval link style be better?

cheers--Sharon

This is very DanielK-ish. Gorgeous!

The metal ring around the diamond is called a bezel, so if it''s pave or diamond set it could be a pave bezel or a diamond pave bezel around the stone.

If you want sometihing like an eternity setting but without the diamond pave bezel, check out the ''Eternity wedding sets'' thread I have in this forum...it has tons of those types of settings. Most of the stones are round but as you can see from the Asscher setting I posted in here too, pave or eternity bands look lovely with ANY stone!!

Shopping for my setting was NERVE WRACKING...but not as bad as making the decision on the diamond. Good luck and make sure to have fun!

Sharon, the pave bracelet with charms sounds too much FOR ME but then again I don't wear much jewelry. For me, it'd be fun to have a regular metal bracelet and then add the pendants/charms and put a few diamond ones in there too.

Its funny because when it comes to rings, I love the serious bling of multiple diamonds, but in reality with other types of jewelry, I'm pretty simple. It's just my rings that are super sparkly!

HI Mara:

I do beleive I have come to the same conclusion--that it would be over the top if I added the charms--afterall I am not P. Diddy...But trying to find a decent w/g bracelet has been more difficult that I originally thought it would be; they are either too small/fragile or the clasp is poor or or or or.........

But that bracelet would be lovely on its own....afterall one can have more than just one bracelet........I should call them......

cheers--Sharon
