Just admit it, TL. You have an obvious weakness for halos.

Especially for spessartites with halos.
Not just spessartites with halos!!

oooh, how bout this. E/W orientation? link

Hey D&T,

I think I like this one the best because even though it''s a halo (oh no!!

), it''s very delicate. If I had my drothers, I would do Harriet''s LM spess design. I love the step cuts and the art deco appeal to it, but I can''t afford LM

Thank you Mochi, LTP, Chrono, and everyone else for their ideas.

Harriet does have wonderful taste..

I often have to tell myself that I work so hard so I can buy Leons when I finish training

I like the delicate halo though, TL.
I''m blushing.

TL,
Take your time. The perfect setting design will come to you. It took me a year to decide.

Icekid,
I''m glad I''m a motivator.

Finally got a clear shot on the black background. OMG, this was so hard to do. You can see the windmills in this photo. It''s not the best cut stone, but I think this is the best photo of it so far.

Thanks SS,
That shot culimatated in a lot of work. It is so hard to focus on that stone.

Interesting facet work - step cut crown and brilliant pavilion?

It has a lot of sparkle factor, which is also helped by the crystalline appearance as well, and I think that''s why it''s difficult for my camera to focus on it.
