Deja Vu Video=Bridal Pics?

i know, wierd title, but-

i just saw Beyonce & Jay Z''s video for Deja Vu. i had heard that it was filmed at a plantation in Louisiana. so when i saw it i paid close attention. i swear it looks like they are at the plantation that i''ll be taking my bridal portraits!

anyone know the scoop about this video and where it was filmed? i looked briefly online and came up with nothing.

I don''t know for certain, but that really does look like Oak Alley. I googled ''Beyonce "oak alley"'' and came up with a few random pages on forums that suggest it was there, but nothing official. On Beyonce''s fan forums, there is a message from someone complaining about a rude assistant that begins
"BEYONCELOSTFANSHERE - 10:33pm Jun 22, 2006 EST
Today I with my 10 year old son just happened to be at Oak Alley plantation where Beyonce was filming her latest video."

So, that seems to suggest you are right!

Your bridal pics are going to be beautiful! I went to school in New Orleans and took a Louisiana architecture class in which we went to many of the plantation homes. I loved Oak Alley and the San Francisco Plantation. Gosh, I really would love to go back for a visit!

um, didn''t think of googling the two words together!! wow! who knew?!
i''ll be taking my outdoor ones at oak alley and my indoor ones at the old governer''s mansion.

at the beginning of my search for bridal portrait locations i kept getting frustrated at the lack of options. seems like plantations are all there is here. but i guess i''m learning to deal. i''ll work with what we''ve got that makes our area special.

well i asked around and most of my friends said that yes, they heard that parts of the video were filmed at oak alley. pretty cool.
