Destination Catholic brides .. pls help !

Hello All,

I’m planning a destination Catholic wedding and little nervous to share our plans with my Church.

We have to get an authorization letter from our Parrish to have the wedding take place in Cancun. Plus, we need to provide proof that we completed all pre-marriage requirements for our Diocese.

Was this process easy for you? Did you have any trouble getting your Church to provide a letter authorizing your wedding at another location?

Any advice for me?
