Hello - I have a diamond that I wanted to plug it's dimension into a calculator and see if it was cut properly, not much I would do if it was not, but just curious prior to building on to this ring. Does anyone know if there is a free cut calculator online?

Its measurements are 8.00 x 5.74 x 3.40, Si2, G Oval 1.03 ct.

Was going to have baguettes ruby (sp) or emeralds place aside the diamond...any opinions on those those gems?

Wanted to make sure I was not building around a stone of poor quality.

Thanks

No such thing for a fancy cut, which oval shape is one of.

There is one for round.

Thanks...what do you think about the dimensions, do they look correct (or is there no correct?0 Thanks

oval, you will need images, preferably ASET image. Which lab graded the stone?

For a ring, definitely go with ruby, emerald is on the soft side, the facets will be scratch very soon from just daily wear.

You can download the AGA old cut grade, proportion based so not that reliable, from here, under diamond education. Also there is a shape picker to determine which ratio you like better.
