Beezy - You are too hilarious, BUT I have the same concerns (muffin top). I was sized at between a 3.25 and 3.5, but ordered a 3.75. I''ve gained 8 pounds in the last year.. so, I now wear my ''promise ring'' (a half eternity wedding band) on my left hand because it''s too tight on my right hand (it''s a size 4). My boyfriend noticed this and kind of freaked out. I swear we talk about it everyday until I tell him to shut up because it makes me feel bad about how my fingers gained weight.. hahaha. This is how our convos go..


FF: Do you think a 3.75 is going to be okay???


Me: Probably.. I don''t know.. I''ve never had a ring that was sized at 3.75.


FF: Then why would we order a 3.75?!?


Me: Because I wanted it a little bit bigger than a 3.5


FF: I just know it''s going to be too small.. you need a 4.

Thanks Pave! I know the hay day of real estate is probably behind us but I hope that the industry can maintain some type of momentum going forward and that this boost won''t be short lived. Thanks for the well wishes on the video contest. I haven''t put that much energy into something in a long time! Oh, and thanks for reading! It is my wish that everyone get a chuckle out of it or can at least relate. :)

You have a tiny finger. Someone told me that the average size of a woman''s finger is a 6. I love my hands and fingers but I''ve always wished they were a tad bit smaller. I have loooooooong fingers. :)

I''m sure the ring will be fine and if it''s not, I promise it won''t be the end of the world!

I haven''t been doing so hot. It isn''t anything in particular. Just a bunch of stuff bundled up to make me feel crappy. Here is a list:
- I''m getting very very nervous about the results of the contest
- I''m not losing any weight (granted I cheat on my diet a lot)
- I ran/walked 3 miles yesterday and then went to a kickboxing class and felt like I was going to die afterwards
- How fat I thought I looked in the mirror at the kickboxing class
- I''ve started working 80 hour weeks again
- I can''t sleep because I am so anxious

Notice that I didn''t mention the ring. I know that the good in my life far outweighs the bad. And that there are a lot of amazing things happening in the lives of me and my family.

FF noticed something was up. I just told him that I was tired.

I laid in bed this morning as long as I possibly could and decided that I wasn''t going to go running/walking tonight. Somehow, I managed to convince myself that I did need to go or I would never get this darn weight off. During my drive into work, I listened to inspirational music which lifted my spirits a little bit. I usually talk to my mom during this time. She called me 5 minutes before I made it in and said, "hey sunshine, what happened to my call this morning?" I talk a lot of trash about her, but I love that woman.

As an aside, I am walking around with unpolished nails which is unheard of. I''m surprised FF hasn''t noticed. He normally calls me out because that I''m a stickler about my nails. I just haven''t been in the mood. It is too close to my mani/pedi appointment on Friday to waste the time and the money on a simple polish now.

I had a nightmare yesterday. I was looking and admiring my diamond. I was looking for the hearts and arrows... somehow I can''t find them. I started to freak out because I KNOW we bought a H&A diamond (in reality). Then, I looked at the diamond again... it turned into a HEART-SHAPED ruby. I was like... "maybe my FF didn''t buy me a H&A diamond, it''s a heart-shaped ruby." At that time I was really disappointed. I was thinking this ruby WILL NOT look good with my Tacori setting. Then, I picked it up and examined it carefully. This ruby doesn''t sparkle AT ALL and it shredding red stuff. I realized that is not a ruby... it''s a HEART-SHAPED WAX!!!!! I was so freaked out in my dream that I went to ask my FF what happened. He said if I don''t like it, we can still return it and get another one. I was like, omg... am I going to go through the process of finding a diamond AGAIN???? Then, I woke up in shock. It took me a few seconds to think if I have really a heart-shaped wax. NO!!!!! THANK GOD!

I would like to start by saying that I have truly enjoyed reading this "diary".

Legally...as the person that will be doing the proposing in my relationship, I feel pretty confident in saying that your boyfriend is waiting because he wants to make it special. It is a big deal and, in my opinon, it should be planned and special. The ring I bought my girl is coming on Monday and believe me when I tell you that I want to give it to her Monday night. But I am forcing myself to wait until June so I can propose while we are away for the weekend because I want to make it more romantic. Maybe he is doing the same thing?

Buying online allowed me to get an incredible deal, but I keep having horrible dreams about the ring being ugly. Last night, I had a dream that the ring came and it was VERY small (like mini-sized) and yellow. It had no sparkle and it was just terrible. Even though I have a picture of the ring and it is beautiful, I will probably continue to have the dreams until the ring is in my hand. Then I will have nightmares about the proposal until June. Good times!
 
i also have crazy ring dreams, eeek!

these have gotten worse since my FF has the ring IN HIS POSSESSION (i''m sorry, but that just has to said in capitals...)

maybe because now that the ring is bought, there is no going back!

Thanks so much! I''m thrilled that others are enjoying to so much. Hearing that warms my heart.

Well originally, my FF was against proposing at all because I was so heavily involved with the selection. However, thanks to Pricescope I came up with a plan. After we ordered the ring, I was officially "in the dark" so I wouldn''t receive any more updates on the ring. I would be thrilled if he puts a ton of thought into it but I told him that he didn''t have to. I would be happy with something heartfelt and simple. However, this is what I asked for! So, I''m happily waiting...even though it can be agonizing at times. I''m not even sure if the ring has been delivered yet. But June is just too long! It isn''t even May yet.

p.s. I think it is so cute that you are having dreams too. A week or so ago FF was having a hard time sleeping which is very unusual. I wonder if he was having ring nightmares too! lol

I'm so confused. I want him to propose right away, but now.. i might want him to wait a bit longer for our special day. Maybe it's too late for him to wait... because this is what happened yesterday:

Me: you know once you get the ring, maybe you should just propose, it's not safe to just put it in your house, since you don't have special insurance for it... (he knows i'm going to get insurance when I get it)
FF: ok.. i'll just give it to you then
Me: ok... but u have to propose in surprise and be all romantic and stuff...... as soon as you get the ring

Good to know I am not the only person with werid ring deams! I once had a dream that my boyfriend proposed with a ring made of wood....no metal and no rock! And then then the worst part is that there is never a proposal. It is always something like..."so...do you want to?" No knee or anything! I think it is because my guy is not the most romantic of all men so I am worried he won''t do anything special. Haven''t had that dream in a while so hopefully the nightmare is over :)

You have nothing to worry about with your Tacori setting! I get jealous everytime I read your posts!! I am dying for it!

Speaking of dreams. I had a nightmare last night. I definitely think that there is a correlation with looking at the SMTR folder before bedtime. I was up late working from home and lurking on Pricescope. Picabia is shopping for an ering and his project is very similar to mine. So, I thought that I would lend a helping hand. You can read his thread this thread that I couldn''t stop looking at last night! After drooling over that eternity thread, I went to bed and then I tossed and I turned...and then I tossed and I turned some more...and some more. Eventually, I fell asleep. And then there was the dream. As many of you know, we purchased a 1.3 K. We saw the stone in person at WF and we really didn''t detect any tint except when it was upside or just slightly from the side. It was very white face up. Well in my dream, FF proposed with a very very chunky yellow gold ring (mine is white gold) with an extremely yellow stone. I was screaming my head off yelling that it had to be at least a S and were was my K! Ummmm, does this mean no more pricescope before bed for me?

THE RING SHOULD BE HERE BY NOW. However, I haven''t gotten any indication that it has. If it is here, I''m very proud of FF for doing such a good job of keeping it a secret. Meanwhile, Damons, has me freaking out that he might not propose right away! It made me think back to my mom asking me about the whereabouts of my passport a few weeks ago. Oh well, not much that I can do about it.

You have seen your diamond and it''s not yellow. I have also looked at the thread with the picture. Your diamond is gorgeous!!! Just try to remind yourself of that. I know..easier said than done.

Needless to say, I woke up heated. Too funny with all these PS''ers nightmares! People who don''t frequent this site probably think we''re weirdos :)

I had another nightmare yesterday... 2 nights in a row. My bf got the ring and proposed on the street... next to the garbage can.... I was like... you didn''t even get on one knee.. he said.. no.. (I''m always worried he won''t do it properly ''cuz he''s a clean freak).... to make things worse, I get a muffin top on my finger... OMG!!!!

Wow! Seven more days and I will have been waiting in the dark for a month! Really wasn''t expecting that. I thought it would be more like two weeks. Fingers crossed that he will pop the question before we reach the 30 day mark.

Actually, yesterday I started to get really concerned that he will wait a while and do "something special." I''m all for it except for the fact that the WF inspection period is 30 days which means if I am unhappy with the setting or the stone, I won''t be able to do anything about it. Hopefully, I love it!

Yesterday evening sucked. First, FF called me yesterday afternoon to tell me that I had left the hot water running all day in the kitchen sink while we were at work. I had to listen to him complain about the water bill (note: we don''t even have a water bill technically. it is part of our yearly HOA fees) and the gas bill from the water heater running all day. Not to mention, there could have been flooding.

Over dinner we got into a disagreement because I told him that I had learned on the Biggest Loser that Texas has five of the most overweight cities in America.

Then his desktop computer crashed. The one that stores all of his photography projects. The one that I use to work from home on. Somehow, that was my fault too..

In FF''s defense he did attempt to apologize and/or console me but I was just over it at that point.

This morning I woke up early to wash and straightened my hair because I have been wearing it pulled back all week because of my jogging. Well, it looks like crap because I need my ends trimmed....waste of time.

Today it is raining here. I somehow managed to pull a muscle in the front of my neck while sleeping...ouch. The numbers on the scale still aren''t budging. The house needs to be cleaned from top to bottom. And I have to make up the hours that I wasn''t able to bill last night because the computer crashed.

I can''t wait to get off so that I can (a) buy a bottle of wine, (b) get my manicure/pedicure, (c) get my eyebrows threaded, (d) buy a cheap netbook so I can work from home.....oh and (e) get my ends trimmed.

My plans for the weekend? Work, clean, work, clean, watch the Mayweather/Mosely fight, church, work, and clean.

Yeah, I know. Can you believe it?! Doesn''t feel that long at all. I guess that means we have been doing a decent job of keeping busy.

I went and got a laptop during lunch from Costco. Everyone at the office said that it was fast for such a major purchase. I went to Costco, grabbed lunch, and was back within an hour. I think I was in the drive through longer than I was in Costco! The retail therapy helped a little bit.
