Sorry. NM my original post. Any of you have stories on doggie friendly hotels? We're always looking for ways to bring our fuzzbutt with us.

Kimpton hotels are great - pet friendly and cool/funky style - immaculate

I''m pretty sure that W hotels allow doggies too. Also funky.

SOME (it''s property specific) Holiday Inn Expresses are pet friendly. It usually says if the specific one is on the holiday inn website. When we were driving cross country they were a god send.

W hotels are as well. And I BELEIVE the Four Seasons is (at least it was the last time I checked).

It isn''t pretty at all, but if you are ever in a bind Motel 6''s allow pets.

Many of the smaller chain motels allow pets if you''re taking a road-trip type of vacation. if you''re going to a specific city, however, I find that Bed & Breakfasts, especially those who cater to pet owners, are the best. Most of the pet-friendly B&Bs we go to offer doggy daycare during the day, so if we don''t take our dog with us on our daytrip, we know he''s happy playing with the other guests'' pooches.

I don''t recall if it was property specific or if its all, but we stayed at a Best Western when we were on our roadtrip as well. I suspect its property specific. I much MUCH prefered the Holiday Inn Expresses (not the regular Holiday Inns, JUST the Express).

Doesn''t Doris Day own a dog friendly hotel somewhere along the California coast?
