Hey everyone,

I got married about 2 weeks ago and had disposable cameras on every table at the reception. Please if i can give any advice to brides or if you have friend who is getting married out there, if you are considering doing the same thing and hand out cameras for those candids shots...ask all of your guests to use the flash!Unfortunately i got all the films developed and 80% of the pictures taken were so dark you cant see anything in the picture, having said that, those that did put flash on turned out really really good.

Thats all, thanks for reading...hope this helps someone out there.

Thanks Rock Your Socks, will definitely keep that in mind!

Ha! I learned this lesson myself with our disposables!

I worked in a photolab for a while and this was quite common :)

One woman was SO MAD that she spent that much money on basically... crappy pictures. People also forget that film gets old and you can''t keep these cameras around forever.. *sigh*

Thank you for the tip!!!

I''ve been at a lot of weddings where each table only took 5 or 6 pictures. I was in the bridal party and ended up taking a lot of pictures in the last half hour of the party just to fill up the cameras.

So many people took their own pictures of our ceremony and reception. We set up a webbook on picasa web albums and gave everyone the user name and password via email to they could upload their pics. The cool thing is that you can also *download* pics, so everyone could share their pictures. It was a bit of a pain following up with people to get them to upload their photos, but once they figured it out, it''s been great!
