I never got a engagement ring, but DH is getting me an anniversary ring soon. I just don''t know what or when, or even how big. The suspense is killing me! I am really sympathizing with some of you, esp those who know you''re marrying the guy, but he''s holding onto the ring for some reason - ?!?!

This will be the diamond ring I never got before the wedding ring hit my finger. I find it odd to call it an "engagement ring" though, as technically it''s coming to me after many years of marriage. (DH proposed with a bouquet of flowers, on bended knee I might add...) So I''ll call it an anniversary ring, whenever it appears, that is...

I don''t eat oatmeal cookies very often but I love cranberry so I may have to throw some cranberries into a VERY GOOD oatmeal cookie recipe I have... Hmm... Now I want oatmeal cookies! PROJECT for me while I''m out of school and off work for the holidays!!! Thanks Cookie_tyme!!

Toss in some white chocolate chips too. I think Nestle calls them "white morsels" or something. They counter-balance the tart cranberries.

I''ve been making just a ton of cookies and freezing them as I''m having a surgery next Tues and I want to make sure the kids have cookies over Christmas.

Thanks. I''m having a hysterectomy and tummy tuck at the same time. After five kids (three of them 10-pounders), I''ll finally have my 17-yr-old tummy back. I just can''t believe it''s almost here. This is a BIG gift from DH, and I really appreciate it.
