I was asking about the bracelet in post#1781. It looks as if it is made out of gold foil. I wish I had a bracelet like that without stones. It reminds me a little of two Cartier bracelets worn together that I saw in the branded pieces thread, but more delicate. Who works in gold foil? I wonder if I can find anything like that bracelet on-line!

When I said that I find images on my computer, I did not mean that I merely lacked "organizational skills". I find images that I picked up on the Internet (and I have no idea where). Sometimes they are jewelry; sometimes they are other people's dogs; and often they are cakes and cupcakes with a lot of icing! That pretty much covers my passions.

I love that necklace, missy! I went through a "phase" when I was young when I loved only necklaces that went right around my throat as that one appears to. I wonder if I still have the yellow gold one I had custom made. Somehow I don't think so. I haven't seen it in years. Maybe it was lost in my burglary back when I was first married! Was that custom made? Please tell us more about it!

The gold choker (I think that’s 14k gold) is from my mom and I will ask her if she remembers any details about it as she gave it to me a long time ago. I’m not sure I’ll wear the anchor on it however as I’m not sure it falls properly on my neck but I have many gold chains that will accommodate the anchor so I have options. Here’s a pic of it on my neck for illustrative purposes.

So glad to have come across this thread as I love high karat gold jewelry. Some of it can tend to look very old fashioned and traditional nevertheless I love the look feel and weight of it!
g set is with uncut diamonds set in 22k gold and is called polki in India, I actually like the chain that this came with...
