I had a family stone that had been worn as an engagement ring recut by BG several years ago and had it set in a bezel pendant. But I found it small at .80 cts, especially as my studs surpassed that size! So I really never wore it. I had Caysie van Bebber make a new platinum and diamond halo for it, and while Covid has hindered my jewelry wearing since I don't go out a lot, I will definitely wear it more often as things return to normal!
It's the one on the left. The sides and back are pretty, too!

Here is a pair of diamond earrings from an estate sale. I cut off the posts and soldered on a bail with a little leaf. to make a pendant.
I think some of you know that I do all my own retweaking.
Here's an ugly promise ring that got new life with a color change sapphire. It changes from purple to blue.
I bought the head at the jewelry supply shop, cut the existing head out, and soldered in the new one. Added the sapphire, and it's so much better now.

@Daisys and Diamonds I do too! I’m reworking a few things right now. Ashlee..my antique elongated asscher is going into a very simple setting. It won’t be too exciting for anyone else to see but for me it’s something I’ve been looking forward to.

This is what I sent David for the first draw up of the design..I also added a pic of a ring that has straight baguettes set like I would like the new setting to have. I can’t draw to save my life but I wanted you to see what this man puts up with..haha
