My FI and I met with this photographer last night. It turns out she works with her husband, and they would both be taking pictures. They are very reasonable ($1000 for 7 hours, not including any photos). I''d love to hear your opinions. Thanks!

Did you see a full wedding shoot beginning to end? Everyone can snap a few pics that are fabulous with a nice camera and some training. But an entire wedding beginning to end is what you need to see.

Did she tell you how many shots they typically take at a 7 hour wedding, and how many of those, typically are usable?

THe pics look okay, although I''m not sure I like some of the positioning of the shots (where she is shooting from in relation to the subjects) especially in the formal shots.

We did get to see a full wedding shoot. She said that in a 5 hour wedding, she typically takes between 350 and 400 shots. Thanks for your opinion.

I really like her, she made me feel comfortable. I like her pictures too, but I''m not sure if I LOVE them. Does that make sense? At the same time, we can''t really afford the photographers that I seem to really love, so this seems like a good compromise.

I''d love to hear some other opinions.

That''s not a lot of shots for 5 hours. The photographers we talked to... ESPECIALLY the ones working in teams took about an average of 1000-1500 exposures for a 5-7 hour event. Are they shooting digital or film? If it''s digital... then that''s REALLY low.
