Are you supposed to put registry information in with your save the dates?

Nope.

The only "printed" thing it "should" go on are bridal shower invitations sent from somebody else.

You "can", however, put it on your website and put your website on your save the date.

Traditionally I don''t think you''re supposed to put registry information even on the invitation. I didn''t include our registry info on the Save the Date, but I did put our website url, which has links to our registry.

That''s kind of the answer I was looking for...on to making that website I never wanted to make...

Thanks for the info, ladies!!

I spent a ton of time on the website. I think it will be worth it in the end. I included our registry info on there only. Basically with the website I love the fact that you can do online RSVPs vs paper ones. Saves money!

Yes, but what about the folks in your family who don''t have computers?

Tberube - You are planning to invite people who do not have computers to your wedding? Are you kidding me? I think at the entrance to your Big Day you should demand that only those who can produce some proof that they have a computer should be allowed in.

I'm just being silly on a very cold Sunday morning!

Anywho...in the past when I've gotten the registry information it's been included in a seperate small mailing that usually arrived soon after the invitation. The mailing contained information about places to stay around the wedding area, included any informaion if rooms were being blocked off, contained directions to the venue AND had the registry information. I don't know if this is common practice or just what my crazy insane friends do

I put our website address on the STDs and the registry will go up on that.

90% of those attending are computer savvy. Those that aren''t are my and FI''s elderly relatives - who will probably buy off list or ask my mother.

That''s what I''ve gotten too. In my experience, the registry is usually one of the last things to arrive.
