I absolutely did not think I was going to get it today. I used a word I knew was wrong on line two to try and identify some vowels. My first guess left me with an ending letter that I couldn’t figure out how to make work given the vowels that were also eliminated. I had to brute force it and assume I knew what vowel went where on the third line and just enter different combinations of consonants (without hitting enter obviously) until a real word popped up. Sheesh. This took me forever.

Yes, started last week now I’m addicted. I play the daily one from UK and another that lets you play all day.

I usually average around 4 attempts but managed to do it 3 today.
Isn’t it so much easier when you have the first letter in the right spot.

Took me five turns today even though I had the vowels in the right spot on the second turn. My guesses were much less common words than the actual answer, which took me a while to figure out.

It looks it is and I just clicked back on it and the word I did this morning is gone, unlike before where it would stay there all day. I wonder if the stats will be zeroed out too? I wish I would have made note of them.

I just went back and navigated to the page again and it’s showing today’s play as well as my stats. So maybe they did port over.

I struggled a bit with this one.

I finally got my stats transferred over (thanks, @Lookinagain !) but it doesn’t seem to be saving my completed game. Which means, I think, that I could play the same game over and over again, and really manipulate my stats, if I wanted to - LOL!

You're welcome! My word wasn't saved initially (when the NYT took over) but it's being saved now, I wonder if it matters which browser you use?
