Do you WORDLE?

I got it today in 3! I had three gold letters on my first guess and four on my second guess.

I'm also enjoying Evil Wordle, but it really, really is evil sometimes.

WORDLE is an on-line word game.

Each day there is one five-letter word. Just. One. Word.

You get six tries to figure out what that word is.

Each time you enter a word, the puzzle identifies which letters, if any, are in the mystery word but in the wrong spot with a yellow square. Letters that are in the mystery word and in the right spot are identified with a green square.

That’s all there is to it!

And yet… this game is about as addictive as an only-one-game-per-day game can get!

I got it in four today. I had one gold letter the first guess and then I had four green the second guess. Then it was just getting that last letter- there were two options and I picked the incorrect one first! Figures.

yesteday and today I had no hits in the first 2 guesses
 
Got it in in 3 today.
I can’t seem to post the coloured squares from my iPad. Every time I’ve tried, I just get plain empty boxes showing up. :(

4 for me today, can't seem to get to 3. I came close today, but had the choice between two letters and chose the wrong one, doh!
 
I figure there are four words that use that combination of the last four letters. So if you get to where your last four letters are green, you have a one-in-four chance of guessing the correct word - unless you’ve already eliminated some of the potential starting letters in earlier tries.
 
5 yesterday bc I didn’t think it would be the bad words. 4 tries today.
 
I forgot to play for a few days. I feel like I’m all over the place with my guesses.

My sis, her two teens, my DH and I were all playing Wordle together last night. I almost forgot yesterday! It was super fun to have all of us tossing words in. My sis resorted to pen and paper to unriddle the letters. With a lot of fun, we got it in four. :D

My second word was obviously not a good guess. That’s what I get for trying to do this before finishing my first cup of coffee!
