Does anyone know of any international dress companies?

I will have at least one girl in my bridal party from across the pond and was wondering how the heck to I get her size if she can''t swim across to try a dress on?

I need a universal company so I can say, hey I need you to get this style from such and such.

size charts. they will help a lot, but it won''t be perfect.

I know that Aria will actually mail dresses to people that can''t try them on in their shop, but I don''t know if they''ll mail to another country or not.

I know Pronovias is a very international company, soon opening a proper store here in NY.

They are a Spanish company based in Barcelona. I know they sell in Harrod's and somewhere on Bond Street, I think if I remember correctly. They even have locations in Albania, Boznia/Herzegovinia and even Honduras...

Their cocktail gowns would work quite well I would imagine. Some are a bit much, but some are stunning!


Vera Wang also has a UK shop in Chelsea, and clearly many shops here in NY. I hope these help!

www.dressfinder.com has a huge list of companies with some detail about what types of dresses (bridal vs bridesmaids, etc) each sells, links to their websites, and you can narrow the list by country. WARNING: HUGE amounts of time can be wasted clicking through all the designer's sites. (Not like I did that or anything....

For the dress my girls liked, the store only had one sample in one size. We tried a few other stores - the same thing. So we took their measurements and went by the size charts...so you don''t always have to try them on if you really get desperate! We haven''t received them yet, so don''t know how accurate Watter''s charts are...but i did just order one from Bill Levkoff and the size chart was amazingly accurate...
