Hi. I’m trying to find a stone that matches these other 2 in order to make a 3 stone ring. Adam at OWD send me this contender - 1.13 L/vs. pls see video
What are your thoughts on this stone? Do you think it’s a close match ? ( to me it doesn’t seem like a match but I’m no expert). Is it even a good stone ?
here are the other stones I’m matching

Assuming the colors, tints, table size/crown angle are already sussed out to be similar-matching

Hard to tell if flavor of facet pattern of earrings pic is similar to the video one.

If your earrings are the same flavor, and the center is different flavor = still can be very lovely as a coordinating trio IMO

(But coming from someone who’s three stone isn’t exactly an exercise in matching ....)

These are the measurements of the earrings and of the new stone. So these seem to match as far of that. It’s just the flavor/pattern I’m not sure of3C229AC9-7D04-4B23-A02A-D27B7DA014BF.pngBA6C19E1-2126-4EB0-89B5-896484CDBAAE.jpeg

Can you attach a pic of your earrings that are straight head on?
Each individually.
Background/lighting probably won’t be that similar to the video, but will still be easier to judge

Here it goes. They seem like sisters but not twins ...

Do I think the earrings are a facet pattern match to the 1.13 - no I don’t.
But I don’t think the trio is unappealing. They complement each other IMO.
The earrings (from what I see in these pictures) have less defined center floral facet pattern than the 1.13 does.

Did you provide Adam a picture of the facet pattern of the earrings to try and match up with? If that’s the main goal, that is.

If you were to loosen color, table/crown%, clarity or another parameter to broaden the search for a closer facet pattern - would that be a possibility? If that’s needed?

Similar to Rfisher, I think they coordinate well but aren’t a perfect match. TBH, many of my antique pieces have diamonds that coordinate but don’t exactly match. If it were me, I would order it and see how it looks with your pair with your own eyes. Images are so magnified that things that look different in pics may hardly be noticeable in person.

I had sent adam a picture as well as the GIA reports in order to find a match. I just broadened the color and clarity parameters for the search. But I do think the current stone may work with the studs. It’s worth looking at it in person.

Thank you for reminding me how magnified those images are. The difference may not even be noticeable IRL. It’s worth taking a look at it in person

Ladies ...what about this stone? Thoughts on the stone itself ( it not certified so don’t have dimensions). Right now trying to assess the stone - if it’s a good one

I like the first one better. This one has a very tiny table. I think the first one would look lovely with the earrings.
