Yes, the sash completely reminded me of Dora!

I am considering this dress in pink....do you guys think it''s too girly? I thought I had found the dress...we all ordered pink Ann Taylor ones but now one of the sizes is not working out. Back to the drawing board :)
 
I think the pink is super cute. Have you called some stores to see if you can see the fabric in person? I know I went to Here Comes the Bridesmaid in Chelsea to see some Siri BM dresses. Not the nicest store ever so you might want to see if you can see them elsewhere? Just to see if the pink is the right shade. One other thing, I''m not sure if you checked prices on them yet or not but I think they were kinda pricey, like >$250? Maybe I''m thinking of Jenny Yoo though...have you gone there yet? That''s a super nice store, a ZILLION bm dresses...its around 34th St near Macy''s.
 
Kara - I was actually planning to go to Here comes the bridesmaid on Friday! I have heard it is not the best as far as the store/service, but I just want to see the dresses! They carry both Lazaro and Siri, which I''m interested in (though, yeah, they are pricey which stinks! I''m just going to have to pay for a little bit of each girl''s dress). I found a place in NJ that has some Lazaros for $230.

Anyway, I actually LOOOVE Jenny Yoo! However, I''m just slightly concerend b/c sizing goes up to 20, while Lazaro goes up to 28. I don''t really know my BM''s size, but I suspect it is around 20 and I don''t want to choose Jenny Yoo if it''s so close to the border of fitting. But I may send her the Jenny Yoo website and ask her what she thinks about the styles/fit.

There''s also this dress below which comes in many colors and it can also be a bride''s dress since it can also be ordered in ivory. What a find!

FMPD and glamour girl, those dresses are awesome. Jcrew also has a swiss dot cotton dress that I''m loving...definitely a possibility for honeymoon dress.

Haha...I''m tempted to get one of those Jim Hjelm BM dresses for future non-wedding related formal events!
 
I actually tried those Jim Hjelm dresses on this past weekend at RK Bridal. I actually didn''t think they were that fabulous looking...but it might have been the condition.
