Down to the wire -- Which Oval? (VIDEOs & ASET)

Hi everyone. Me again

I want to thank you all for your help and opinions on my previous thread.

I figured I would start a clean thread because I have a quick question and need an opinion on selecting an oval to add to my final line up.

So far in the line up I have:

• a 2.30 GVVS2 ex, ex no floro which many of you liked
• a EVS2 2.30 Carat, Ex,ex no floro which seemed to be a good contender as well
• oval opulence 2.41H --> if it is still available to view once I reach NY.

(Side note: It turns out that the G VVS2 was in fact purchase by the gentlemen who my friend is purchasing it through - thus it was not my friend who was jacking up the price - rather the man he was buying it from - I did confirm this via some paperwork he sent my way.) The G VVS is being shipped to NYC for me to view next week.

I have ONE more that I want to add to my final line up but I can't decide which one to choose. I am looking for MAX fire/brilliance for a generic oval - minimal bowtie.

Option 1: 2.37 GVS2 10.78x7.37x4.63 (THE SPREAD!!) with ex polish, vg symm (report here)

Option 2: 2.30 GVS1 10.41x7.5x4.66 ex polish and symm, faint floro which i've heard is OK?

I like the 2.37 better, just terrible they wont give you the ASET image. the 2.3 ASET just doesn't make me excited. Hopefully the pros can weigh in

So I do see the other thread has some responses after this thread, but I don't see where you mentioned that you finally decided on a stone. Unless I've missed something?

hello everyone! it finally happened january 5th in hawaii and it was the best day of my life!

i went with a 2.5 G SI1 that my hometown jewler got for it - it's the one that spoke to me the most!

I am having them edit the area around the halo where the prongs are because there was a little bit of shrinking(?) that happened and it made one of the prong areas look "empty" to me in certain lighting . it looks way worse in this pic than it does IRL. they said they will add tiny pave stones here . i would appreciate any advice about this!

but overall i love it thank you for all of your help and patience everyone!!!!!

and here is a video that i took the morning after the proposal! it shows the whole ring!!!!!! originally i had only wanted to go with 3/4 of the pave around the band but they accidentally did the whole thing lol! i am very gentle with jewelry and have a few eternity bands that I've never had an issue with so I'm OK with it ! Plus more diamonds lol!

Here’s a couple more - I really wanted a fat sparkly oval and that’s exactly what I got couldn’t be happier with the stone. I know not everyone’s cup of tea is the sparkle shattered glass look but I personally love it !!!
