What is that one piece (ring, necklace, watch, etc...) that you dream about one day obtaining?

I don’t know why, but this ring calls to me. The center is 2.94ct OEC (J-SI1). It’s something about the detail that sucks me in. I would love to have something similar, maybe even a bit smaller as this thing has a whole lot of finger coverage! But at $33,000, this is my “If I win the lottery...” ring. What about you?

My DH made one of my bling dreams come true, when he helped me purchase 7 Vintage Cut Asscher Diamonds from Yoram ( @diagem ) at GemConcepts in order to create my very own bespoke Anniversary Band that is representative of our blended family, and our marriage. It’s the one project he promised me he’d support, before we married.
Production of that project should begin, next year. ;)2

Next on my list of dream bling: 3+ct Octavia Asscher by Yoram at GemConcepts, set by either CvB ID, DK, or VC in a one of a kind, custom setting. Still deciding if I want a pendant or a ring. Decisions, decisions...

Next: 4ctw OEC studs from JBG or CvB ID.

Next: Waiting for @Rhino to achieve the AVEC. I want an AVEC that measures 12x9mm (1.50:1 l x w ratio) F VVS. I’d love to set that baby in a split shank, platinum tri-wire setting with melee along the claw prongs, basket, the split, and around the band that crosses over the tri-wire. Leaving the rest of the band open.

Another: 3+ct (K-O color, VS) Antique Cut Cushion set in VC’s Vintage French Cut Halo or Emilya.

Another: 4ct Paraiba for a pendant.

The list goes on & on....but these are my BIG ones....lol!!

This is gorgeous & matches my taste, as well. I can see why it “calls to you”. Beautiful dream to have.

A PSer who knows what she wants. I like it!!!! :mrgreen2: And you’re a blended family with five kids? If so, we are too.
 
My dream bling is a 2-3.5ct high colour OEC in a fishtail prong setting ie my current ering but made bigger.. and maybe with elongated french cuts instead of baguettes. I have a wishlist of a bunch of rings like a spectacular navette, a sapphire or ruby target ring, a deco asscher like DS2006's but my dream bling is the OEC.

Six? You’re a SAINT! We have five. Their ages are 23, 21, 18, 16, and 13. I brought three with me (23, 18, and 16) and he brought two (21 and 13). In March of last year, I adopted the 13 year old. We have three girls (the 23, 21, and 16 year olds) and two boys (the 18 and 13 year olds) and became a family almost 8 years ago.

Really has not been that bad...lol!! Our kids have always gotten along and there’s always that line that they never cross with each other, so I consider us extremely blessed. It has helped that the majority of our children are around the same age, they help to look after the littlest. For the most part we all have a really good relationship with one another, which is why I have such a strong desire to create an anniversary band that represents our marriage and our children. No ordinary jewelry store diamond would do for the creation of this band, and I’m thrilled to have seven vintage cut Asschers from Yoram at gemconcepts to create it.
Large families can sometimes be a handful, but it definitely makes life more interesting...lol!! :mrgreen2:
 
A whiteflash bangle, not sure if I want 1.5 ct or 2cts. I want to wear it every day, so not toooooo blingy, and a 3cts + OEC or ACA, that’s the toughie, I can’t make up my mind. :rolleyes2: Either will be set in a plain simple 6 or 8 prong platinum setting.

Hopefully the bangle will be mine this year, and the ring, next year.

I’m going with a very special PSer to look at old cuts soon, then I’m going to WF in September to check out the ACAs before I decide.

Decisions, decisions. Other than that, I can’t honestly think of anything else I want.

I’m wondering if this would be a dream or not. Center is 2.65ct I-VVS and sides are 1.25ct H-VVS each. In the video it looked very white (diffused outdoor lighting I believe).

I love this look, but for me the proportions of the Center stone to two side stones has to be a lot different; Side stones would have to be much smaller in proportion to the center.
I would need more detail on the metal, but, I love the concept.

Yeah, I agree. It is an estate piece that just came up in Tampa. I told them to keep their eyes out for an Art Deco target ring for me. :mrgreen2:

I honestly never thought I would actually have it, but somehow I'm half way there with a dream stone so far. Hopefully one day I can reset my stone into this setting and actually achieve my dream ring.

I have loved that setting since I saw it too. But when I saw it IRL, it had a lot more metal than I expected, especially around the pave of the halo. So I would recommend seeing for yourself before committing.

Wow really? That's really good to know, thank you. SS does have a retailer in NYC now so I should hopefully be able to go there to see the setting in person before I commit. Thank you so much for the heads up, I'll definitely keep it in mind.

This is me always torn between old cuts and new. I mean I was so so so very close to purchasing another ACA (much smaller than your dream stone) and backed out at the last minute because of the old cuts in my norah band. Made me question if I wanted a bigger old cut instead. Ugh and now I am still at a standstill.

On another note I do have the WF bangle and love love love it!
