woah! That''s like £5000! I suppose it will cost about that as the plainer dresses that I''ve tracked down have been about £2500-£3000 so the one I like is far more ornate and will cost much more. You are so lucky to go to her shop and meet her!Date: 7/3/2009 8:07:32 PM

SapphireLover, that is a stunning stunning dress! I had the absolute indulgent pleasure of trying on several Mariana Hardwick gowns, and even got to meet the woman herself! They are simply divine. I didn''t however find my dream dress there (I bought mine at Linda Gorringe Couture) but if I were planning a more formal grand wedding, I could have found many a gorgeous dress. The only downside were the prices, they are quite expensive, but you can see where your money is going. The quality of the fabrics, the workmanship and their reputation, that''s what you are paying for.
Have you tried emailing their store in Brunswick, Melbourne, Australia and asking about shipping directly to you? They may be able to work with you to get the dress of your dreams.
I don''t know the exact price of that gown, but judging from the prices of the gowns I tried on, it would be around the $10K AUS price mark I would hazard a guess.

My actual dress was David''s Bridal T9315 with a custom added halter strap. Photos of me in my wedding dress are here.
My dream dress was Alfred Angelo 2032, pictured below. It came out after I bought my actual dress...oh well!
