That's my sort of shop, Diamonds4me. Got any more pictures like that tucked away.
BTW, I love your bananas but every time I see them I start hearing 'Bananas in pyjamas are coming down the stairs.' It's going to drive me nuts. I do like the faces you've drawn on them.
Hehehe..I was cruisin'' on ebay last night just to see what kind of rip offs I could locate and I bumped into this pretty little picture in the tanzi. section. WooHoo! I wonder if I can get this framed........Date: 12/22/2004 12:214 AM

You guys need to take a trip to the diamond district in NYC. There have got to be 500 of those windows down there!

I suddenly had a vision of all of us plastered to the windows in the NY Diamond District...kind of reminded me of the scene in the movie, A Christmas Story, where all the kids are plastered to the window with the toys in it. I suppose I better call them and suggest that they stock up on Windex because if I make it up there they''re gonna need it by the time I''m peeled off the glass.
I think I should probably clean my monitor now....
They are the BEST smilies ever!!! Now I''m going to be hearing "yes we have no bananas" in my head. Although I''ve decided that the grumpy looking banana at the back must be B3 - the one who was dumped before they became famous - a la what''s- his-name from The Beatles who was replaced by Ringo Starr.Date: 12/22/2004 8:39:30 AM

Too funny, lol. Let''s hope that they are keeping it safe because they won''t be able to keep up with them and us plastered to their windows.Date: 12/22/2004 10:47:47 AM

LOL! The reflection in the window shows the initials ''YP''--looks like a NYPD Paddy Wagon--hope the district is safe???? Maybe the folks usually ''plastered'' to the windows have their hands up????!!!!!!!!!A little Christmas humor of course.......
cheers--Sharon
I presume you are thinking of Pete Best? he was the drummer whom Ringo replaced.Date: 12/22/2004 3:25:52 PM

That''s the one, Diamondgeezer. Maybe I should stop spending money on jewellery and save for an overseas trip? I''d visit New York to check out the diamond district and I''d visit the UK to see as many bands as possible. I''d definitely visit Manchester to soak up the atmosphere of The Smiths and New Order. Does the Hacienda club still exist? I know they went broke with it.Date: 12/23/2004 7:16:30 AM

but there have been many ''5th'' Beatle''s out there, but Pete Best, Stuart Sutcliffe, Chas Newby, Tommy Moore and Norman Chapman were all members of the band (or of the Silver Beatles) before leaving or being replaced. but the only genuine 5th Beatle is the city of Liverpool.
