So now that we are most likely going to have a destination wedding on an island in middle of summer, I''m thinking about possibly changing my dress. I think the dress is beautiful...but possibly too much if FI is just going to wear a white shirt and some khaki shorts or something.
I stumbled upon this girl''s wedding photo on tripadvisor.com, and I love her dress! I''m thinking about going to try it on just to see how comfortable I feel in it--and then hopefully I can make an educated decision as to whether to keep my dress or get a new one. The only problem is, I have no idea who makes it. Any identifiers out there? And if it''s expensive, would anyone (cough..ebree) be willing to help me find a less expensive alternative?

Thank you so much!!

P.S. Aren''t her and her new husband straight out of a catalog? Gorgeous people!

Is there any way you can pm her on tripadvisor to ask her? It''s a beautiful dress and they do look totally out of a catalogue.

I did PM her...I''m just impatient! lol

I''m not sure if tripadvisor sends an email notification that someone has PMed you or if you find out when you login. I guess we''ll see!

I''m pretty sure they do. I''m on tripadvisor and I''ve been pm''d a couple of times and as far as I can remember they send you an email. Hopefully she will reply to you soon.

luckystar, I just wanted to say that I love this dress and think it would be perfect for your DW. If you find out who makes it please let us know! I love the sweetheart (?) neckline!

LOL!

To be honest, I don''t recognize it right away. It reminds me of Avril Lavigne''s second wedding dress, but it isn''t exactly the same. It looks like it''s made of out chiffon or some sort of english net, which would be perfect for a destination wedding!

Here are a couple of dresses that are similar:

Watters 5034B

Not exactly the same, but this Vera Wang BM dress has the same feeling:

Hi! Don't know if you saw my post earlier, but I have a similar dress like that (or at least, I think I do

). I'm having a DW in Indonesia, so I didn't want any heavy fabrics for my dress. My dress has a english net overlay and it's very breezy and island proof

Hope that you will get a quick reply (I'm impatient about those thing too hehe)
