Hi everyone,
Fi and I have begun to plan for our wedding. A few things to consider..
1. This a 2nd marriage for both FI and myself. FI is divorced and i am a widow.
2. We are having a very INFORMAL wedding. Probably at the beach then home to have a Panda Express catered ''reception''
3. I still want to wear a beautiful ivory dress. I love the mermaid/trumpet style dresses. I have found many, however; fear that
they may be rather formal.

Please give me your thoughts on these dresses. All dresses come in ivory. Some i chose to post in color so that you can better see
the dress. A lot of white/ivory dresses dont'' show up because the background is white.

THANKS!!

When you try them on, definitely show us pics!!

CONGRATS!!!

i love #3 and #7!

i like 2 or 7 - good choices!!!

Hi I think they all look nice, but if you want more selections, check out Jenny Yoo's Alternatives line or Watters Destinations line. They are made for more casual weddings. Someone just recommended this to me http://www.jennyyoo.com/wedding_alternatives05.html

All of the dresses you chose are pretty--good taste. here''s my take on them.
#1..seems formal and you said you really like the trumpet dresses, so if you are going to go with formal then pick a trumpet dress. but it has a sleek design even though its not fully fitted.

#2..seems very bride-y...pretty, but no WOW factor.

#3..is a gorgeous dress.

it looks flowy and can be dresses up or down depending on accessories. it gives that grecian goddess look. this is a great beach dress.

#4.. this dress has a beautiful top, but the more i look at the bottom...eehhh. it says bride without being too much bride. it also reminds me of a beachy wedding.

#5..it''s pretty, but looks thick--don''t know how else to explain it--almost as if my grandma set her dining room table too many times...lol...kinds uncomfortable looking---maybe its just the way the model is posed.

#6..its simple and classy with the trumpet stlye twist. its beautiful.

#7..its pretty, but i think you have to be supermodel tall to wear this length in the trumpet style otherwise you''ll look dowdy in it.

have you tried on the trumpet style yet?

I like #2, 3, and 5. I *think* I like #3 and 5 the best. They''re all pretty but some are a little more formal.

I REALLY love #2 and #3. I think they are absolutely stunning!!!

#5 is by DESSY. it is dress # 1010

Thanks for everyones input. I'm thinking the trumpet style is going to be too dressy if it's in a satin material.
I'm definitely liking #3 very much...
hafta find a place that carries it so that i can try it on.

haha I love 2,3,5, and 7. Haha

MB, I think it depends alot on your body type...hard to say without knowing that. I like #5 though.

In that case, I think #1 (in ivory for your skin tone) would elongate you with it''s A line flair. And #7, because it will look lovely on your figure and show some leg! You should try on dresses with those "cutlet" things that give you more boob for your buck! I think those would be fine in both those dresses.

Based on your description of yourself I''d vote for dresses like 1 and 5, and rule out dresses like 3 and 4. Be sure to bring a camera when you go out to try on dresses!
