Duh?? What The Hell Is QVC?

Is this like a shopping channel? I only watch TV for one sitcom...so I''m clueless.

It is a shop at home channel. They are online at www.qvc.com. QVC stands for "Quality, Value, Convenience." Crap. I watch that channel too much if I know that offhand.

They sell everything from clothes to cookware to jewelry, etc. I've gotten some fun jewelry from there (like $25 10K gold toe rings...)

Lisa's the best by FAR. I could watch her blab on about jewelry all day! A distant 2nd would be Mary Beth Roe, but not a fan of most of the others.

Still, if someone's talkin' 'bout jewelry, I'm usually listening....though there is one guy who does a jewelry show that kinda annoys me. Can't think of his name. Rick Domeier.

HTH= Hope this helps, or hope that helps. Soooo funny about QVC, I love Lisa Robertson, and Mary Beth is nice but a little too sweet for me. Since they are in West chester PA, I see Lisa at the mall in K of P all the time, she is very nice!!!!!!

Lisa, how do you find ANYone at K of P mall? I tried to meet a friend there, and it took 45 minutes to figure out where the other person was....and we were BOTH AT the mall!!

Oh you gals have brought up one of my favorite malls!!! K of P...wow! Is still the biggest mall on the East Coast? I used to love in Philly, but unfortunately during my poor student days so I could only walk around the mall and drool then. I need to make a trip up there.....

Besides the mall of America, I believe K of P is the second biggest. We have 2 that are side by side, so if they were joined, it would be HUGE!!!!

I have become a recent QVC junkie. (since like late spring/early summer). In fact, I just ordered a bracelet and necklace recently after watching the 4 hr 18k gold special the other night. The shows are getting me into yellow gold, which probably looks better on my skin tone anyway but I''m still not totally ready to take that plunge so both pieces I ordered were in rose gold.

Lisa Robertson is my favorite too! None of the others compare - she is so down-to-earth and obviously more real to me. She was the first host I ever watched and I was sadly disappointed when I went to tune in the next few times and saw the others. Lisa Mason would be my 2nd choice but she doesn''t have as much spunk.

Kaleigh: I do remember that you have to go outside to "2nd mall." You must get a real workout walking around that place!

Sarita, every time my DH walks in and sees me watching jewelry on QVC, he (A) rolls his eyes and (B) gets nervous.

I ordered a set of 500tc sheets from there and they are so fabulous (and cheaper than the 350tc sheets I got at Bed, Bath, and Beyond) I wash them and put them right back on the bed.

Onedrop, words cannot DESCRIBE how much I love the bangle bracelet above. It is diamonique, but it is real wg and looks like real diamonds to me (and everyone thinks it's real...it's such a believable size and design!) I wear it every day without fail and get tons of compliments on it!

I originally wanted the one below, cuz it's cheaper - it's platinumclad I think (pt over silver) but it was waitlist only so I ended up with the one above that is real gold, cuz the real gold one came out soon thereafter and I liked it even better...finally sucked it up and paid more it since it was gold and not pt over silver.

I love QVC!!!! I try not to watch it on TV or I would convince myself I needed whatever was on-air

I love the Pamela Dennis clothing line that they carry, great quality tailoring and the fit is perfect. I''m also always ordering some new Bare Escentuals make-up that has come out.

I love those bangles....may have to make a visit to the website and check them out. They look amazing!

Don''t get too excited...I live where the biggest mall in the world is. West Edmonton Mall. It has a roller coaster too. Everyone who lives within a 25 mile radius knows better and avoids that mall like the plague!!! I mean....does a mall really need 200 shoes stores???

FG - Both of those bracelets are really pretty but I think the one you got is more classic (the real gold is nicer, too). I haven''t bought any of their Epiphany or Diamonique stuff though I have been tempted. I did get a Nolan Miller pink perfect pave bangle bracelet and those are pink czs - it looked more understated on the website and is more flashy IRL but still a fun piece and cheap.

I should be getting a rose gold singagpore necklace and this bracelet any day now. I wanted a circle bracelet so bad and poured up and down the site for the perfect one - ended up choosing something way different than what I started looking for (traditional thicker rolo type) but I was drawn to it!

QVC is so fun!

I LOVE THAT BRACELET SARITA!!!!!!!!!

Damnit, now I have to go check it out. I absolutely LOVE IT. I ordered a rose gold bracelet a few months back but they sent the wrong size and then it was out of stock, so I lost out on that one.

I started a thread on the bangle I bought...you can find it here. I still haven't taken great pics of it, but I figured I'd post what I had.

I also got some toe rings from QVC last year...now, don't look at my chunky toes

, but I do love the 2 toe rings! The chevron one on the left is still available (Leon Hall chevron toe ring) but the one on the right is discontinued. I've given them as gifts too!!

I had been watching their shows and surfing their website but never bought anything for a long long time...and then I bought a few chains and toe rings and opened up the floodgates...bangles, pendants, bedsheets...uh oh!!
