I am having a DW and then a reception afterwards for all the people that couldn''t come. I am sending out invites next week so that people can have enough time to get their deposits in. This is my question...what do I put in the invites. I don''t have a date for the reception yet so do I just add a little blurb saying that there will be one and the date is to be decided? Also, is there some sort of etiquette when it comes to the wording? Do I include the price of the trip or the amount of the deposit that has to be put down or do I just tell them to contact the travel people or myself?

Is there some site on the Internet that I can go to that has some good examples?

Thanks!

I would say putting a blurb in about the TBD date would be fine. If you don''t want to put the price in the invitation, if you have a wedding website, you could direct them there for the details and logistics of the whole thing. Similar to how you tell people where you are registered.

Hope that helps!

Thanks pluck15. I thought it might be rude or something to put the price of the trip on the invite. Most people know what it is, so they can start budgetting, but I don''t know, it just seemed a little wierd.

Good idea for the website though. I think I will get on that after lunch!
