Has anyone ever seen this?

If so, where can I find one.

Thanks!

No, I haven''t. Emeralds are fairly fragile so I''d never put one in a DBTY style bracelet, for sure. As a necklace....well, maybe, since it''s less prone to damage but having the backside open on each stone doesn''t sound like a good idea IMO...

What about something that is a similar color? Like tsavorite garnets or something?

I wouldn''t put tsavorites in either to be honest - they need plenty of baby treatment!

Yeah...although it would be beautiful I just don''t think it''d be a great match for a bracelet.

Maybe green tourmaline?

Darn, drat, and all kinds of curses.

I LOVE DBTY necklaces, but I really want green stones.

And of course to add to the torment, I am a May birthday girl who has to pick out her sparkly gift in the next two days

I''ve never seen one. Are you looking for a ready made piece or for green gems to assemble into one?

I''m sure you could have one made though I agree you probably wouldn''t want emeralds banging around in a bracelet. Maybe tsavorites with the bottom enclosed in metal? Or a stronger green stone.

Like green sapphires?

I have never seen greed saphires, but that soulds like a great idea.

Pete at Quest was willing to make one for me, using some pretty emeralds that I have in an ugly setting, but unfortunately I can''t afford to spend that much on a recycling project.

Tiffany''s make this one with an emerald: http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Item.aspx?sku=15434406&mcat=&cid=&search_params=s+1-p+2-c+-r+-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+emerald&search=1

I was looking for this style of necklace, but with a ruby. :/

Best of luck to you!

Thanks! Thats gorgeous, I would love to have that!

I like the idea. Green sapphires would look very pretty. It will be interesting to see your finished piece if you decide to have it done.

What about chrome diopside?

I have a gemstone by the yard necklace that my local jeweler made. It has citrine, amethyst, peridot, and blue topaz.

What about chrome diopside?
Chrome diopside is even softer than emerald and garnet, 5.5 I think.

Chrome diopside is so pretty! I have a pair of earrings that are the deepest, clearest green I have ever seen.

I have thought about it a lot and I think I might have to just save my pennies for a while and get Pete at Quest to make my necklace.

I have some pretty, dark green emeralds that I want to use and I know that he will make settings that properly protect my stones, if my e-ring setting is anything to judge by.

It looks light and delicate and airy, but it weighs a ton and the stones are both highly visible and completely protected.

It is probably worth the insane amount that he quoted me for labor to build the necklace to have him do it.
