Engagement Ring- Suprise Proposal

After talking to several jewellers. I picked a local one to the San Antonio area to create a custom engagement ring. This will be the first piece of jewelry I personally have purchased. It is to be a suprise. The hardest thing was getting her ring size without ruining the surprise. I used the ring pictured as my avatar to get an estimated size. I playfully put it on her finger and took the best guess I could 6.5. I then bought a cheap silver ring and pretended to find it in a parking lot. Playfully I slipped it on her finger and it was a perfect fit. I had already purchased the stone. It is a Princess cut .70 VVS1 Color I Blue Nile- signature ideal cut. Today I received the CAD images. I love it and I know she will too. Can't wait to post images of the actual ring

We will decide on band together. She can have anything her heart desires. Knowing her she will want a plan band though. If so, I think she would be excited about doing this together.
