Hey

All of these round HCA diamonds are making me envious. I don''t know why she likes princess cuts, but here''s one that I''ve seen and liked. Any ideas on how to get a better picture?

A better pic of this ring? Taking in to Photoshop and cutting out the rest is a start

Um, seriously though is this your pic? I'm just misunderstanding the question... This is a setting I've seen a lot so you shouldn't have a hard time finding a pic online. If I get time I'll search around.

I was a girl who originally wanted a princess, but after shopping and looking at a lot of stones, I actually chose a Round Brilliant. Who knows exactley why I changed my mind - I think they are all beautiful. I'm glad I shopped around though - now I'm certain that RB is exactley the perfect stone.

I think Solomon Bros.s has a pic to match your ring pictured here. Again, I'll search if I have time.

Plenty of people--myself included--just want something a little different than the typical RB. : )

Yes, and it's best to go with what the gal likes

The setting you have posted is classic and very elegant. A gorgeous piece to be enjoyed for a lifetime. You shouldn't have any problem finding a jeweler who either sells such a style or can have one created for you.

I agree with Michelle. This style has held the test of time and looks especially good with a fancy. My mom had this setting with her pear 30 years ago and I see young girls with it today with emerald shapes, princesses, and pears...even marquise look really elegant in this. It is classic and shows off the center stone--no matter what shape--perectly with the subtle hint of baguettes on the sides.

I also think thst you should get what your GF wants--that is the safest thing to do!

You could try browsing the mall to look in the windows and gauge her reation as you point out different shapes...? But ultimately, she should have what she likes/wants!
