Ok, I found these on Freakingcats ebay site... They are so cool! If I weren't leaving for vacation in a few hours, I would be bidding 8-)

Those could make a really cool pendant for lovers of the unusual. Great find!

The lacey pattern looks like potential blood vessels that went through the bone Would love to see a slice of that material under a microscope.

I'm usually interested by bone, but I find those pieces to be a little freaky. Reminds me of a veiny, angry eyeball.

Wilma Flinstone wore one.

Believe it or not, I own a rare wood box that has a lace pattern very similar to that second stone. The wood is from Australia. I know it's not blood vessels, but it's funny how certain patterns repeat themselves in nature.

Hey Kenny, I know you know that the dinosaurs predated humans by about 62 million years!!

Are you suggesting The Flintones were not real? ;(

These are cool! Not sure if I'd wear one, but they really appeal to the nerd in me.

I almost bid on one of these, but decided not too, as the sceptic in me says "how do I know these are real dino bones?"

Those could be killer buttons with no pavilion and attached to a button loop with epoxy.

The pattern in the stones is actually the cellular structure of the bone itself. Coming from an area where bones are plentiful (though illegal to collect), it is pretty easy to tell the real thing. When you see them in person, there is nothing else on earth that looks like a nice piece of bone. I'm not much of a cab person, but I do have a few pieces of bone in my collection.
