FI and I have set the date! September 30, 2006. I''m starting to think about my wedding colors. Not sure what I want. If you''re a fall bride, what colors did you choose???

Well, I''m a summer bride, but my friend got married on Oct. 12th and her colors were cranberry and ivory. They had cranberry vera wang bottoms and then ivory tops. It was really pretty. I also love all the beautiful orangey colors....

Vuitton- I would suggest waiting until you pick out your reception site. That''s what I did because I didn''t want my colors to "clash" with the room.

10-1-05, pink and bronzy brown

November 5, 2005 - red & gold with accent of ivory and green.

My friend is getting married in October and she''s having Burnt Orange and Cranberry with shades yellow, green. Very autumn like.

Oct 15, 05, and although we didnt pick our colors because of fall, it turns out to work out very well!

Our main color is hunter green with accents of red, gold and navy. My fiance is wearing a kilt with these colors and the main color is two shades of hunter green. Which I thought was great because with the backdrop of the reds, oranges, gold and browns of the fall leaves outside, a nice rich color like hunter green to offset it will be just perfect!

OMG LOL I did this too but luckily, our reception hall is ivory with hunter green carpet, and our church has LOTS of hunter green decorations, linens, etc.!!!

I was worried about clashing with the reception hall too. The place I picked is very neutral, but my original first choice was red and gold.... I probably would have gone with more black (black bridesmaid dresses, etc) and less pink in that case. I''m a summer bride, so my colors are irrelevant..
But some of my friends are planning Fall weddings
One is doing black bridesmaid dresses with red flowers, and i think some white touches
The other is doing champagne colored dresses, with maybe orange and red flowers.

We''re getting married most likely in Sept 07, so I guess I count! My bride maids to be have already decided that she should wear green

That was basically my plan anyway, as it''s my signature color- I have bright green eyes. Since I can''t wear green, they can and show off my eyes haha.

But I''m not sure what other color(s) yet- we have lots of time to think about it though!

Hey punch--I was looking at the colors as a whole. Some places were dark, cranberries and hunters, some were pastels, mint greens and pinks. The place I chose is also neutral so I didn''t have to worry about it but it is ALWAYS something to think about!

awe- you''''re getting married on my birthday! i LOVE the colors you chose!!

when i was a bridesmaid- last oct.- i wore a black (gorgeous) dress. the colors of the flowers were very autumn like. golds, oranges, the ribbon was a celery green that held the stems together. i thought the black dress was PERFECT as a backdrop for all of the colors in the bouquets.

Sept. 28, 2003. Colors were red and gold. BM dresses were a cranberry red, and their bouquets were yellow calla lilies tied with ribbon. Red's my favorite color, so I wore red strappy heels under my white dress.

I am the MOH in a wedding this year, Nov. 2005 and the wedding colors are eggplant and off white.

I am getting married in the fall of ''06 (September 23rd). I went with the colors I like (Champaign/White) What are your favorite colors? Maybe use them or if you are having a theme wedding that may give you some hints as well.
