Favorite Deodorant?

I have been using Secret Flawless for a while now. All these ladies that use mens I might have to give it a try.

I have a question though. I put my deodorant on after I get dressed because it seems than when I put it on first I get the marks all over the sides of my shirt. For those that put it on first and then let it dry then use the powder, how do you keep the deodorant and powder off the bottom half of the shirt?

Another problem that I have is that I use it in excess. I cant stop. DH counted once and I use 14 swipes per pit. I know this is too much, but it doesnt feel like a good coating if I use less.

I put deoterant and then a tank and then after it's dry, I put a shirt on and a bit of deoterant always shows up and I just rub it off. Most of my shirts/sweaters are either purple or black so inevitably a few streaks show up. Not sure about the powder as I'll be trying that tomorrow. Don't have any puff to apply it though... (will report back if it helps with wetness - gunkiness)

I put my clothes on very carefully! If I happen to get some powder on my top I use a damp towel and pat it off, but it's usually not a problem.

If I'm putting on a black dress or something that is trickier than a regular top, I'll put a couple squares of toilet paper under each arm while I'm applying my makeup, and then take them off right before I put on the dress. That usually gets any potential messy excess off.

Ah, the trials of keeping dry!

Here's a trick for getting deodorant marks off clothes. I use an old pair of pantyhose or knee highs and rub it over the deodorant marks. It removes the deodorant quickly.

mitchum unscented rollon.

I second this -- I think mine is a unisex version and it works better than anything I've used in forever. I can't use the stick kind -- it reacts badly with my sweat and gets sticky and stinky. Gels are okay, but the Mitchum roll-on is great!

I use Ban deodorant and I really like it.

I used to use Secret and it stopped working as well. With the Ban it also keeps me from sweating. I tried using a man's deodorant and liked it at first, but then it badly stained a dress I was wearing, it wasn't the deodorant itself, but something in it combined with my body's chemistry. It was weird it turned a red dress black

Wow, sparkles! That is a crazy story-- I can't even imagine deodorant being able to turn red black! What brand was it?

Old Spice (the blue hard stick one)

I use Dry Idea unscented roll on. I have been using it for YEARS and it works really well for me.

I use Secret in the powder fresh scent. However, the absolute BEST thing I have ever found is Certain Dri. It's not really a deodorant per se...it's an unscented roll on that you apply at night before bedtime and it GREATLY reduces wetness after continued use. Once the wetness is under control, you can start using it just a couple of times per week for maintenance. www.certaindri.com
