Good Morning to everyone on the forum,
Please share what your favorite books are on jewelry.They can be on gemology,style,history of jewelry, or any of those great coffee table books like My Love Affair With Jewelry by Liz Taylor which is a favorite with me.I am currently reading Diamond Stories and its about the history of the jewish diamond cutters and dealers of 47th street...very interesting.Share and review your favorite books !

Depends what you are looking for. There can be books about gemstones and minerals, picture books of Royal''s gems to The Photoatlas of Inclusions by Gubelin...

If it''s understanding the whole world of jewlery I suggest start with this one (it''s a basic, classic, comprehensive look at the jewlery world):

There are literally over 100+ regarding jewlery both US and internationally. More than I can list, although if you want to be more specific, that may help. Some may be hard to locate, and some books will retail over $500, as they are so rare in print. I am actually reading a great book titled: THE PINK PEARL "A Natural Treasure of the Caribbean".

About the pink queen conch pearls..., which are the ONLY natural pearls today, (the rest are categorized as cultured pearls)..., and due to the fact that you cant culture these pearls due to their shell structure..., they are becoming extremely sought after by collectors and connoisseur''s!

Their value''s are going up constantly!!!
