Many of us have old jewelry items that we’ve kept forever, such as class rings, charm bracelets, necklaces and other items that we just couldn’t part with. I’ve lost so many pieces of jewelry over the years but a few have survived. Here’s a picture I just took with my cell phone (sorry for the poor quality) of one of my favorite old rings from way back when...that I am wearing today.

Would love to hear a story or see a picture about one of your favorite old treasures.

Oh that's pretty Judy...I think I've posted most of mine, but I'd never part w/my original e-ring, or w-band, though they are quite small and obviously purchased at the Maul.

I've had a charm bracelet, and a silver necklace, both for almost 30 years...(somewhere, still unpacked from the last move!?)

My Aunt gave the charm bracelet me when I was about 5-6 years old! She had gotten it as a gift when she was about the same age! It's silver, and has a Canadian Maple Leaf, and some other stuff!? I'm going to have to dig it out now just to see what's on it!

The necklace has a little round pendant with an engraving of a flower on the front of it, and the back is engraved with the date of my Uncle's wedding on it! My Uncle was killed about 3 years later, so I've never let the necklace get far away!

I was the flower girl, and I wore that pink dress afterwards until it pretty much disentregated off of me! The pictures are priceless, because the other flower girl freaked out, and I had to drag her down the aisle!

Tawn - I still have my old charm bracelet as well...I haven't thought about it in years. I'll have to look in the "ancient treasures" box in my closet.

Your flower girl story is cute (post the picture if you find it). My flower girl was my neice who now is grown and has three children of her own. My mother was so angry at her because she "stole the show", as flower girls often do! When she grew up I was matron of honor at her wedding - we remain close to this day.
