Favourite Engagement Photos???

Hi All,

I''m looking for some inspiration for engagement photos...we have decided to do them this weekend and i''m hoping that you ladies would share your favorite engagement photos with me to give me some ideas on poses, scenery and the like...

we don''t have ours back yet, but i can already tell that my fave ones are going to be the ones they shot "between shots" when FI and I were joking around or laughing,etc. versus the ''posed'' shots. that is just so not me, i felt like a total goof ball with a perma-grin. Although, I may be surprised. I can''t wait to see how they come out.

as for background,etc. that is a tough one because everyone is different- we are outdoorsy/casual so we had ours done on the grounds of our wedding venue, everywhere from a garden arbor to a stone wall of a barn to a white picket fence. if you want more formal shots with a studio feel you''d need something different.

i would say discuss with your photographer and try and listen to their ideas, even if they seem odd. they are, after all, the artist.

That is the most fabulous photo! The photographer has such an eye for color...placement and timing. He captured love, playfulness, trust in the pose. With the old phone booth...it denotes a sense of timeless value-or you could say, longevity.

The couple is quite beautiful and most photogenic...which doesn''t hurt...but the composition is award winning caliber.

It too love this photo...and I don''t even know them.

I''m a long-time lurker, but this is my favorite picture from our engagement shoot. It was "posed" but still very candid looks. Makes me grin to see it!
