Bummer ;(

Quick! Get the Superglue/Araldite/clear nailpolish - it will only take a moment. Put a blob on paper and apply it with a pin that you can then throw away. It's okay... the glue will make it stronger

It does look good! Particularly the last two photos which are a bit lighter.

it looks like great finger coverage...
nice, nice.

Chrono, your rose gold skin contrasts so nicely with the blue wax! LOL How are you feeling about it? it appears to have nice finger coverage, to me. The kind I would like........... Agree with Starzin about 'fixes'............I'd probably try to hold it together until the 'real' ring arrives. Continued good luck........what is the time line for the ring's production and delivery to you?

Agree with Greg...posting at same time.

Chrono, you have small fingers, and yet it still looks very delicate on your hand. I think the outcome will be beautiful.

Wow Chrono! Your enormous patience really paid off. Even in 3 (or 5) pieces it's clear that it will be a gorgeous ring! It looks so elegant on your hand
Looking forward to admire the real thing.

This thing gets prettier with every change. I can't wait to see the final product! :cheeky:

I can just imagine how great it'll look with the carving. Exciting!

It's really coming together, Chrono!! Wonderful finger coverage and so unique! On the home stretch now-yay :appl:

Thank you to everyone! 4 weeks until I get it. It will be a size 6 for my middle finger.

Then we will all be chewing our nails with you - roll on end of September!!

Sneak peeks of the ring in progress. Note that these are not glamour shots. The engraving is obviously not done yet and although the stones are set, they are not finished yet either.

Chrono,
The ring is gorgeous. I just love how the metal cups bring out the color of the FCD's so they pop.

Finished or not, your ring is amazing.

I really appreciate the symmetry of your final design, I can't wait to see the finished product.

For some reason, the shape makes me think of a lovely feminine yet powerful crown.

I'm so excited for you, Chrono- it is going to be amazing!!!! Spectacular!!!! I am soooo looking forward to it to be completed. :appl:

Your patience and hard work paid off!!! The result is stunning. Your almost finished ring is a beauty :appl:

Funnily enough I was only thinking yesterday that we were at the halfway making mark.

It's starting to look really good - are you pleased?

ETA: Did you change your mind and put the pear in YG after all or is it a trick of the light?

I'm so glad you chose to use colored metals for the heads. So so SO glad! Excited for the final version!

:appl: :appl: :appl:

OMG- that is just sooooo amazing even without the engraving.

I cannot believe the transformation that this ring and jewels have had over the course of the journey.
I cant wait to see it on your finger.....

Thanks. I just noticed how "raw" the metal is when unpolished.

Thanks. I, too, think of it as my Tiara ring. For some reason, she like to photograph the ring this way, but I prefer it the other way, where it looks more like a crown.

Thank you. I can claim the Patience part but the hard work is a PS collective effort. :))

Yes, VERY pleased. It is nothing like I originally envisioned but I still love it very much, if not as much as the initial original inspirations. And no, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. It was a last minute change to 18K YG.

I'm confused; I thought you knew I was using coloured metal for the baskets? Anyway, thank you again for your help along the way. Although I did not use any of your ideas, just being there helped.

Then I'm so really happy for you and I'm pleased that you love it and don't feel as though you're settling. It still does look like a tiara ring, just not old-style tiara ring.

:appl: to the last minute YG, I was a bit disappointed you were going with RG on the pear - now it's purrrfect.

I did. I just wanted to voice that I was happy about it. I was worried you'd be swayed by the designer who was less than enthused!

I like the colored metals for the heads too.
