I posted this thread on Rocky Talky, but figured I’d post it here as I know there are a few colored diamond lovers on this board as well. Colored diamonds sometimes seem to get missed in the shuffle on the boards between colorless diamonds and gemstones. Or maybe there’s just not as much demand :)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I'll throw my 2 cents in because I absolutely adore FCDs and own 23 of them (some in my avatar and one in my e-ring).

I find it interesting that the chip isn't really marked on the diagram on the GIA report. I watched the video a bit and don't see it either, so I seriously doubt it is cause for concern. The chip doesn't appear to be anywhere that prongs would be when set, imo.

I also will say that "Fancy Light" anything is just that, as I was a bit surprised at first how light that really means. You will definitely want to have it set in at least yellow prongs to bring out the color or it may be more washed out than you hoped. I've learned that the hard way with Fancy Light yellow, pink, and green. I thought I wanted all those set in platinum, but it was pretty disappointing (pun intended! ).

All in all, I find it quite lovely!

The chip is negligible enough, hence the VVS1 clarity grading. You might want a more enclosed yellow setting to amplify the colour, otherwise it’ll be a bit difficult to see the yellow, unless that’s how you prefer it.
