I *love* the marquise I've purchased for Jon, but I'm not quite sure if I'm feeling it for my engagement ring. If I had unlimited funds, I'd keep it for a rhr but sadly if I want a nice beautiful diamond for my engagement ring I need to purchase it myself and I can't afford 2 diamonds at the moment.

Part of me thinks I'm absolutely insane for selling this because it's so gorgeous but I can't quite put my finger on why I don't like it on myself. It's currently a sizeable US 3.5 in 14K white gold, light wear on band/light scuffs-plating is still great. $6000 or best offer. I get tonnes of compliments and it will make a beautiful engagement ring for the right person.

Beautiful ring/diamond! And beautiful nails. I wondering if it is because of the shape of your nail and the shape of the diamond are too similar? If you change the shape of your nail to round, will you like the look of the ring better?

Agree with this. My pointy pear looks different to me based on my nails shape and size.

I meant to change my nails to coffin (round makes them look stumpy) but was persuaded to try stilleto and I swear the diamond looks massive now for some reason. I was surprised by how big it looks now even though not much has changed. I still want to go bigger (I'm a true-PSer!) but now the shape doesn't seem as "off" as it was before.

After some reflection I've decided that I do want to move forward with selling. Price is reduced to a more attractive and discounted $5500 USD. My Loupe Troop post now also had a link to more photos! It's a beautiful stone and she deserves someone who loves her.

I found the video I took of this diamond in action! Super gorgeous light show-ignore the dry hands!

REDUCED: $5200 or best offer! Would love to have a new ring for my trip in the end of July and would love to see this on the hands of someone who loves it!

Bump! Make an offer! I had a couple unexpected bills come up and need cash. :)

Last chance to make an offer! If you've had your eye on it let me know-she's going to go to auction beginning of June if she hasn't sold by then.

Bump! The perfect home for this beautiful ring has to be out there!

New video in indirect light! I promise it's not blue, the lighting was weird. Make me an offer I can't refuse!
