He did the sweetest thing for me today.
background story, we are getting married tomorrow. he is staying at his brother''s house tonight so we won''t see each other until i walk down the aisle. my mom and i left earlier to do some last minute shopping before he left for his brother''s. he hugged me before we left and had tears in his eyes with a smile.
well, when my mom and i got home, he was gone already, and i am missing him like crazy already. we walked in the door and on the counter is a bouquet of flowers and 2 cards. the one in front is addressed to the future mrs. Katie R...... i open it and it is one of those heartfelt cards that seem to have been written just for you, and then he wrote me the sweetest message i have ever received, about how much he loves me, how he doesn''t think god could ever create a love as strong as ours, his promises to me for our future...a bunch of sweet mushy stuff like that.
the second card read on the front...Happy 50th. on the back it said do not open until Oct. 13, 2057.
i was crying while reading it, my mom was crying, and now i miss him even more. i was already on cloud 9, but now i am over the moon. after 6 1/2 years, he is more romantic than ever, and we are more in love that ever. i don''t know what i did to get so lucky to find someone like him.
my mom has left back to her hotel, and now i am sitting here all alone till his sisters come over. thanks for letting me share
