BTW, do NOT EVEN BEGIN TO THINK about taking Tylenol. It chews up your cysteine which further inhibits your ability to manufacture the glutathione that you need.

Don''t bother with glutathione supplements. You will just be throwing money out the window - better to save it for sparklies! The tripeptide breaks down in the digestive system and becomes useless. IV glutathione is not particularly helpful either because the molecule is too large to pass through the cell walls so it can''t get to where it is needed. The only way to effectively increase your intracellular glutathione [the main endogenous antioxidant - the other two are super oxide dismutase and catalase] is to take something that makes your cells manufacture more of it. This is not an easy task.

The company website of the product I was talking about [MaxGXL] can be found here. You will want to click on the MaxVideo link and look at Dr. Keller''s interview. I think that you will find the info informative. There is a bunch of other written stuff on the site too. Also, you can see the slides presented at the International Society of Anti-Aging medicine conference on the DBPCS results here. You can order the product directly from the company.

Hope this helps.
Thanks so much for the information and the link. I will look into this

I hope it is useful to you.

RisingSun, how are you feeling girl? Have you checked out that forum?

I changed my diet at the beginning of Feb. to a low/no sugar/starch diet: absolutely no sugar, flour, rice, pasta, potatoes. I was suffering greatly for the first nine days!! I had NO IDEA how addictive sugar was!! It wasn''t until day 10 that I felt different. Finally the cravings stopped and I had more energy, and no hunger!! I''ve already lost close to ten pounds too!

Have you been finding anything that is working for your pain? Are you happy with your doctors'' approach to managing your symptoms?

I''m not feeling very well. I did check out the website, but I need to get off PS and spend some more time on there! I am satisfied with the way my doctor is handling things. My situation is complicated. I have a number of other medical problems and it''s always a challenge. I have had recurrent skin CA. I saw my surgeon yesterday and he took five biopsies. I have a benign blood disorder with the potential to progress to Multiple Myeloma! I also have some respiratory problems. Oh, this morning, my tinnitus was so loud it woke me up like an alarm clock

Wow, sorry to dump all that on you! That''s not even the whole list of woe is me

It sounds as if your dietary changes are a very good idea. I''ll be interested in how you progress with that. My diet has been dreadful. With the TMJ and esophogeal spasms, I''m not sure what to eat. Don''t let me get you down. I''m just venting. I''m sure I''ll feel more optimistic next time I post.

Thinking of you!

Did you know that the tinnitus and TMJ can be associated with your fibro? I''m sorry that your history is complicated. It makes it sooo much harder trying to sort out individual disorders from related symptoms, let alone get effective treatment! I''ll keep thinking of you!!
