I love both the stone and the setting! But...is it me or is the stone just a teensy bit crooked in the setting? If it''s visually apparent, that would drive me bonkers. Is it perceptible?

pretty!!!! I too thought it looked crooked in the setting, but maybe it''s just the photo.

Its not crooked at all at least not from what I can see IRL. Some of it may be how I take the pictures. some of the straight on pictures reflect my camera back at me on this ring, so I have to move a bit to the side for a better shot.

ETA:

Ok Now I know what you're talking about. Because the corners on this stone aren't flat, and the fact the setting has claws, he had to find a surface for the claw to rest on so the claws are very so slightly offset. I'll have to see if I can get a super closeup of that so you see what I mean. (it won't be the prettiest picture)

At a normal distance IRL, that isn't detectable on my hand at all. but zoom shots, oh yeah I guess it would seem like the setting is crooked. I will say its been one of the drawbacks of having this stone.

thanks, though if I ever change the setting, it''ll be to something with double prongs because of the corner issue.

I love the ring - It has elements I want to use when I reset my diamond... but what is the sculpture its on? I have a serious weakspot for that sort of thing... :)

beautiful!

The sculpture was created by my husbands step-father. This is a smaller replica of one he''s done before for someone else. (the other one was HYOOGE!!) I keep bugging him to get a website at least but he complains he''s too old for such things

so pretty!!!

Minty fresh! I am sure that lights up beautifully on an overcast day :)

Such a pretty green!

Very pretty Arc. I''ve long admired that setting. It really reminds me of a flower. The tourmaline is very pretty isn''t it? I like the way the colour intensifies in shaded light.

Great colour and cut.

LD it really is a great setting. Maybe not such a good one for the corners of my stone though! A stone with flat corners would be a better choice. The setting is also quite substantial. I had the prongs lengthened because the stone is so deep.

This stone is really fantastic, and positively glows in low lights. I''m very glad I snapped it up
