Finally! CrookedRock gets Engaged!

Yup, I made it all the way to #8 on the list, and now I'm off!!

SO, most of you know that my BF and I went to Nantucket for my Birthday. Well, my birthday turned into much more!!! The BF, being the creative trip planner he is, chartered out this beautiful old sailboat for a before sunset cruise (sunset would have been too cold). The night could not have been more perfect. The weather totally cooperated, and the sun was even out! Part way through the cruise he went up towards the front of the boat, so I followed. I sat down next to him on the side of the boat and that's where it happened.... He Proposed!! It could not have been more perfect. Seriously! We spent the rest of the cruise drinking an amazing bottle of 1989 Vueve Rose that we were saving for this occasion that he had snuck up there without me knowing! From there we went out to an awesome dinner at The White Elephant's Brant Point Grille, which was amazing! Everything was picture perfect, and we couldn't be happier!!

I have to hold out on the ring pics momentairly bc of a lil problem with Leon. I will say that I do have the ring, and it is nothing short of amazing. The pave doesn't even compare to anything else I saw anywhere, including the high end stores we shopped at. But to hold you over here is a pic of us on the boat right before he popped the big question!

Ladies Thanks so much. I can''t tell you how excited I hae been to share this news with all of you, and how much it is killing me to not post the pics.
All of you have been incrediablly helpful and or supportive over my year on PS, and I just love this place!

Indy Gal, I am lmao down here!!!! The lil problem is certainly not the rock! As a matter of fact the rock isn''t a problem at all, I''m gonna rock it and love it!! Seriously it''s huge, and in the greatest way. The jist of the problem is not in the aesthetics of the ring at all. It''s beyond my wildest dreams. Basically, some of you may recall a thread a while back where I was asking for opinions on doing the pave around the bottom of the shank. Long story short, I went for it bc Leon was putting an insert in it. Well let''s just say it doesn''t have an insert... Not ideal practically speaking, but like I said the ring is gorgeous. I will explain the whole ordeal as soon as everything is settled, I just don''t want to step on my own toes... I hope you guys understand...
